Came here for a late, last minute dinner on a friday night. Although they seemed busy they managed to fit us in. Service was ok although a little lost at times.

The food was quite good. Good flavour and a good amount of spice (got mild because of others that were dining).

For 3 entrees, 4 mains, rice and naan with tea it came to a total of $120, I think these days for good quality food it represents great value!

Tried thali on the weekend, food was fresh and staff were friendly. Decent price but food came out a bit slow. I recommend this place if you want a good meal.

Dined here with 4 others last night. We got the vegetarian banquet which was very delicious and good value. I would happily recommend Neelam and can't wait to return to try the other dishes.

I've been here a few times now and really like this Indian restaurant. The food is always very good and the service fast.

This is really a hidden gem. From the outside, Neelam might not seem like much but upon entering inside, the decor and furnishing of the restaurant is the first noticeable thing, making you think you've stepped into a high-class restaurant in New Dehli.

The service is quite good, albeit sometimes the waitresses can seem to be a bit chatty and might overlook your subtle glancing attempts for attention, but overall it can't be faulted.

The food - cannot be faulted. It can't. It just can't. In a banquet, the curries are refillable, so if you're in a large group and are very hungry, you're guaranteed to leave feeling full. The taste, spice, aroma and overall flavor leaves you wanting more and more.

Price is to be expected for the service and quality of food of Neelam, albeit it might seem high at glance. For 2 people, expect to pay anywhere between $50-70 for a solid 2-course meal.

Definitely worth a visit - it won't disappoint.

I have been to Neelam's a few times now, both to eat in and for take-away. The meals are consistent and always taste fabulous. The serving staff are friendly and helpful.

We have been to Neelam a couple of times and found the food to be very tasty, cooked in an elegant home style. We decided that this was the best place to cater for our party at home and sure enough they out did themselves. We were extremely happy and so were our guests.

The food was great with handsome portions and was delivered within the time they said it would take. Thank you Gyanji and Rohini, you'll enhanced our experience with Neelam, and we look forward to dining there and more catering in the future! Thank you once again and good luck!

I was recommended this restaurant by a work colleague that is Indian. Having asked him to recommend a good Indian restaurant with genuine tasty curries, he said Neelam. He said the ones in Harris Park are not as good as this one, and definitely gave Neelam the thumbs up.

Turns out, it was a nice restaurant, clean and attentive staff and recommend giving this restaurant a go. Curry here tastes really good. We were there with another couple and set us back $50 per couple. We had ordered 1 entree to share between the 4 of us, 3 garlic naan, Lamb Korma (really good!), Chicken Tikka Masala, Butter Chicken and a Vegetarian Curry and basmati rice. Really tasty curries, and highly recommend the Lamb Korma. 3 of us also ordered Indian Ice Cream which was good.

Staff were really friendly and helpful. Amenities there is clean as well. We ate here on a Wednesday night @ 6 pm and there was plenty of metered parking on Macquarie Street. Will definitely come back here. Great value for money.

Nice restaurant with great service, delicious food and good value lunch deal. Don't be fooled by the diner exterior appearance. Inside is a neat and friendly Indian restaurant. During lunch there is a deal with 3 curries, rice, naan bread, pappadum, dip, salad and pickles all for under $12.

All their curries are full of flavour and saucy, perfect for dipping bread and pappadum. The butter chicken is my favourite as it is creamy with just the right dose of sweetness through it. Service from the attentive and efficient staff is appreciated and they have the awards on the wall to prove it. Drop by for a most satisfying and fulfilling lunch.
