I found this to be an authentic italian napoli style restaurant. It is in a location that has been a restaurant for over 30 years and the produce is very authentic italian. The only issue I have is that here is how the real pizza is made in Naples, not like other areas that stick lamb and fetta on it and call it italian, very highly recommended for proper italian food..
This used to be one of my favourites restaurants, but last time i went i was very disappointed, it seems that the price has gone up and the quality for the food has gone down, considerably.
I was recommended this place so I called Haberfield during the week and booked a table as Leichhardt is only open on friday and saturday. But I can tell you that this is the only let down. The service was consistent, friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, there are not many places in Sydney that serve quality Italian pizza. Not too much topping, just like the pizza's in Italy! We had 3 children with us and Napoli in Bocca is one of the only places I have felt comfortable with children. A reasonably priced restaurant. I really recommend this place!
Best Napoli - style pizza ever! Simple, good, authentic food. Decor similar but less crowds mean less of a buzzing atmosphere (though easier to get in). At the moment I think only Fridays and Saturdays.
Same excellent simple Italian food & pizzas as their Haberfield establishment - but easier to get into if Haberfield is booked out! I don't think the atmosphere matches Haberfield but the service & food are great. Make sure you call before you go as it isn't open every night.
I ate at the Leichhardt restaurant a while back and while the food was great, I was disappointed by the service and lack of organisation. Recently, I went back reluctantly, and found that this time round they were organised, friendly, and bending over backwards to make the environment enjoyable. Staff can really make a difference to your dining experience!
