Oh My Gosh....yummy yummy!! I have been there four times now and it is sooo good! I have to admit that I've had the banquet three times now, my problem is that it is so good that I can't be bothered to try anything else! But I have and it is all good. The butter chicken is unlike any butter chicken I've tasted before, in a good way. The timing of the meals is always spot on, and I've never felt rushed to finish or pressured to order. I love eating here and will continue to come here as long as the food and service remains as good as it is!

Wow, what a food. The real taste of Nepal. Makes us feel like we are in Nepal. Never eaten Nepalese food so good in Sydney before. Should have better music system and service. But keep it up guys, you didn't disappoint us. Sure gonna visit next time.

2nd visit to Mustang after left satisfied on 1st visit.. had a fabulous MoMo's in Sydney. Had a dish of Dhal, Bhat n Tarkari it was full flavoured. It left me no shame to ask the waiter if he could get the recipe for me of Chicken Curry. I should say it's the best Nepalese restaurant I have ever tried.

Waiters were available times you need them. Service was prompt. Little bit cramped and overshadowed but mouth melting dish and service. Absoulutely value for money...what else you want a fine dining restaurant, 3 course delicious meal in $54 for 2 person. Certainly would come back..no doubt..

Lovely. To echo the comments below, starters really nice. The dry rice and meat was gorgeous. Specials were really tasty and value for money and service was outstanding. Definitely go again. Happy days.

Cute little restaurant with great service. Would love it if there was more of a nepalese interior design to compliment the food. The value was great as I ended up spending about $30 for myself which included an entree and a main.

I have been there twice. The first time was with 15 people and I was very impressed by both the food and the service. The second time was with 19 people and I organised the evening. It was a real eye-opener just how easily they made the banquet and a memorable evening happen, no fuss and lots of compliments from my guests about the food. An upstairs room and a group of friends in the little bit of Nepal in suburban Crows Nest, a great evening!

My partner and I enjoyed the banquet, at $25 per head we were treated to a complimentary taster followed by three entree dishes, steamed chicken dumplings, potato cakes and a beef dish on top of crackly soy beans and toasted rice. There were two great condiments as well.

The main dishes were a traditional chicken dish (butter chicken) and a mild lamb dish along with a vegie curry that had a bit of spice to it. All were flavoursome, my partner is a chef by trade and raved that this was the best butter chicken he had ever eaten, I can agree with that!

The dessert was the delicious pistachio ice cream sprinkled with cinnamon, a simple yet scrumptious way to finish a fine meal. And of course there is the cheap corkage which we took advantage of.

Overall the service was flawless with friendly wait staff who knew the menu well and assisted with explaining what was in the dishes. I highly rate the banquet but will be going back to sample more of the traditional Nepalese dishes.

My husband and I went here for dinner after a friend recommended it. We had a great night out. The flavours in the food were lovely, we had the banquet which allowed us to experience quite a variety of food. The service was great, the staff were there when you needed them but did not hover or make you feel uncomfortable. The serving sizes were good, and cheap corkage as we took our own wine. Would highly recommend.

I went to Mustang with 3 friends on a Friday night and, unfortunately, we were given a table in the empty room upstairs. Depsite the lack of fellow diners, we had a great meal and the waiters couldn't have been better. They appeared at all the right times to take orders, clear plates etc and were friendly and efficient. Having read good reviews of the food, we were expecting a lot and the starters didn't disappoint. We shared a selection of unusual, tasty and well prepared dishes and loved them all.

The mains were good, but not as interesting as the starters. 2 of the 3 meat dishes seemed somehow dull, depsite the rich flavours and, perhaps, would have benefited from some vegetables to provide texture and variety, rather than just cubes of meat in a lot of sauce. Maybe this is our western expectation of what constitutes a good dish however. This may sound too negative, as we had a great meal. The portions were well sized, tasty and I would definitely go back.

Corkage is a ridiculously cheap $1 each and the food is very reasonably priced, so with an entertainment book we walked away full and satisfied for just $20 each. Bargain!

A small group of us went to Mustang on the basis of the reviews here, and we were not disappointed! We had the Banquet menu, and were rewarded with lots of beautiful flavours, and spices, making a highly enjoyable meal.

The service was great, attentive and fast, and all for $25 a head! - That included dessert! Brilliant. Give it a go - you won't be disappointed!
