Dined here last nite with friends, felt that there wasn't much variety on the menu, prices of meals were very expensive for what you got on the plate, the food itself was quite tasty, service was reasonable, overall not a bad dining experience.

I've been here before and was impressed the first time also. Our welcome here was very warm with great staff who were both friendly and flexible. We brought some special wine which they were happy for us to drink (with a fair corkage price) and seated us with a prompt entree order.
Everyone in the group (6) were impressed with the menu selection, so ordered a selection of the tapas and main meals. All food came in perfect time, with olives/bread brought without asking (I love that as you always need a nibble by the time you sit down!) and all were delicious without exception - the Jamon is definitely a recommended option.
After some deliberation, the mains were picked (could have eaten them all) and all were impressed with their meals. The atmosphere was great, good lighting, well staffed all night and overall, another great experience here. I'll be back again and recommending to friends.

Hello, me and my sister went and hung out in search of great Jamon in Sydney. We sat down in a cool shady spot outside which was convenient on the hot day it was, and waited for some service. We waited a fair amount of time till someone came over and handed us our menus. The menus were great, there was a vast selection of Entrees, Mains, Desserts, Drinks etc. We ended up ordering 2 entrees
The Prawns and The Squid.
The dishes took about 10-15 minutes to arrive, but this was good because it gave us time to look at the restaurant and see all its pros and cons. The restaurants look was great, it had a great design with an outdoor eating area, indoor eating area, stylish furniture and look (especially the pig head wallpaper), a decent sized bar.etc. Once we had a good chat and had thoroughly analyzed the restaurant, our food had arrived.
The prawns were amazing, and I can't believe I'm going to say this but they were like KFC prawns. I know that may not sound appealing to some, but they were superb. And then the squid, it was another fantastic taste sensation, a dry mixture of delicious spices around a moist non-chewy slice of squid. A delicious combo of gourmet KFC prawns and squid that could be moist and dry at the same time really got our taste-buds boosted and begging for more.
So for the Jamon part we ordered the Jamon Iberico (most expensive on the jamon section of the menu) and waited. The Jamon arrived in thin slices (could have been thinner) with warm, moist, freshly baked house bread. We wrapped the Jamon around the bread and ate it, we both agreed it wasn't as good as Spain but it was pretty damn good! We polished all that Jamon off, but no no no, our stomachs wanted more of this tasty treat!
We ordered the 16 month Jamon (or 18 I can't remember but there was a younger Jamon that had the same name) and shortly this delight came. This Jamon had a different taste to the other one, I don't know how to describe it but for some reason it tasted younger! It also came with the homemade bread and it was also amazingly delicious. But again, the slices could have been thinner.
Overall our experience at MUMU was a delicious contrast of tastes and textures.
Thank you MUMU for a wonderful time.

We had a nice meal here a while ago but my wife's meat wasn't cooked as asked. The decor is interesting if a little in your face. I didn't want to stare at a cow knowing I was ingesting one! It was overall a nice evening out with a quite funky, if not under-trained staff. Decent prices for steaks and wine which is great for cCows Nest.

Visited on Sunday 14th Feb for a family birthday lunch everyone agreed the food was excellent service very good and suitable for the kids who were provided a picture and pencils to colour in a cow. I had fillet of beef wrapped in prosciutto on a bed of mash with beans - very wholesome. I highly recommend this restaurant to meat lovers the whole Barramundi and salads looked great too.

Service was fantastic; steak and chicken dishes were very ordinary. Steak was tough and chicken was dry and small.

Not bad, very pleasant sitting outside on a balmy night. The service was great, my steak was one of the best I have ever had although my friends thought their food was good but not fabulous (they didn't have steak). So, I would suggest you sit outside and order steak. Oh, I forgot, all the entrees were very good!

I was very please to see that as a vegetarian there was more than one option available. I had the vege platter which had a wide selection of different tapas and it was delicious. My partner had the schezuan prime rib which he said was the best stake had in a long time. We also shared a tomato salad which was really yummy and presented beautifully. We started our evening off with a couple of cocktails that were refreshing and very good.
My favourite was the passionfruit side-car, it just tasted like sorbet! To finish with we shared a dessert platter which was really nice as we got to try a little bit of all the desserts. The waitstaff were knowledgeable and very friendly. We went on a saturday night and booked a table which I would strongly recommend as they were full and had to send people away. We had a really good night. We will definitely be back again!

Delicious food. The ribs are superb and so is everything else. They even gave my mum a free dessert when they heard it was her birthday. It was a very delicious lunch.

I was really disappointed. The tapas were pretty pathetic. We had the stuffed zucchini flowers, chorizo and stuffed mushrooms. The ingredients tasted like they came from the local Coles! The chorizo mire like hot dog and the “stuffing” in the mushrooms was simply chopped capsicum. Both dishes had this weird plastic cheese on top. The batter on the zucchini flowers was more like a beer batter than the light batter you would expect on delicate zucchini flowers. They totally over do the flavourings and sauces that go with the steak. Not necessary given the good quality.
It’s really a shame. Great venue and beautifully fitted out restaurant. The wine list was also pretty good.
