The space looked terific, the drinks were pretty good and there was a real buzz to the bar.

Its a shame the staff were really arrogant and rude. They virtually ignored us, too busy flirting with other customers instead of taking orders and making drinks. Took alot of waving with $100 bill to finally get their attention.

The Music was downright awful! Didn't compliment the space at all, couldn't get out of there fast enough.

This was my third visit to Mr Fox, and I have to say, I think I'm in love. From the friendly bartenders who are only too happy to suggest a cocktail, to the perfectly fresh and divine cocktails themselves (we tried the Amaretto sour $15 and watermelon mojito $14), this place has got better and better.

We munched on our complimentary bowl of salt and vinegar flavoured popcorn, and the bartenders even poured some of the salt into a paper cup for us to take home and try. The share plates being delivered to other tables looked really good and we'll definitely be back to try some.

All up, the vibe, the drinks, the music, suited us to an absolute T. Mr Fox is fun without being pretentious, quirky without being too odd-ball. It's awesome!

My girlfriend and I wanted to try something new and Mr Fox is as new as it gets at this end of Crown St. Had the whiskey sour and the AA. both were solid drinks with so much flavour. Just what we needed after a long day at work.
We were both then quite happy to discover the food menu. I had the burger and my girlfriend had the vego burger.

My burger was really good. So juicey and tastey, quite a surprise. My girlfriend said her vego burger was such a great change to the norm. She loved the falafel and roast vegies in it, Also the chips on the side were so good I ordered a bowl towards the end of the night. could not get enough. Definitely coming back!

The drinks and ambience were wonderful, especially the cocktails.

The food, however, was a different story. The burger I ordered was sort of this lump of what claimed to be lean mince served between over-toasted lumps of ciabatta. Luckily the drinks were spot on since I needed 3 of them to wash down my burger. I am fairly certain there are parts of central Australia more dry than the food.

Lovely venue let down by very mediocre food. I suggest you eat elsewhere and then head here for drinks.
