Apalling service. Have been there for lunch twice, and had reasonable service, but this took the cake! We went for breakfast, were told to sit anywhere. After sitting for 15 minutes, I got up to hunt a waiter, who was dismissive. Ordered, and promptly waited whilst people who came later got served before us. The icing on the cake came when I order orange juice, but told they were out. I took this well, until the guy at the next table asked the same question, and got one! I reafirmed my desire to have an OJ, but got the same, sorry, we have none response. I will not go again!

What can I say? It is lovely but you do pay for it. Food is spot on, I've had the Seared Tuna pasta with a bit of chillies, perfect (I have returned just for that dish).
My guests have always had great things to say about the food. I also had a large group for lunch once, I did pre-booked and the service was great. Also came here once and my guest was out of towner and I wanted an outside spot on short notice, and they delivered a great table for us.

I dine at Mos regularly, and am always welcomed back enthusiastically by the friendly and knowledgeable staff. I bring clients here all the time. The food always consistent - I always know what to expect, and am never disappointed with my choice. The tuna spaghetti is my favourite. Great wine list for a city lunch venue, too. Keep up the good work, Mos.

This is not a 1st class restaurant, but they charge prices as if they were. My partner's seared tuna salad was very nice, but my sirloin tasted like a $5 pub steak, albeit with a generous serving of chips and hollandaise sauce. The staff were friendly, but unattentive. We had to ask for our water glasses to be topped up every time. Using the the Entertainment Book offered some value on an otherwise overpriced meal.

Mos is an excellent lunch venue - I agree with the previous poster that dinner isn't really its speciality, although I have only been there once it was totally deserted. Needless to say the food was still outstanding.

The food is great and the buildling is really beautiful - in Summer definitely try to grab a spot outside - indoors is nice and cosy in winter. The one thing which is consistently good is the service and this shows through in the staff, some of the waiters have been there for literally years which I think is a sign of a good restaurant. Definitely recommend!

Given its central location, this cafe represents good value for money. The wine list was excellent and reasonably priced; the service professional. The outdoor seating area is great if you like to "watch the world go by".

I've been going for years. The service at MOS is extremely professional. The menu selection has good variation and the food is better than ordinary cafe fare. Can be breezy on the terrace and inside seating can be too cosy.

Mos is great for a work lunch - lovely food, good service and a relaxed yet sophisticated atmosphere without over the top prices. Sunny outdoor tables are best with great cityscape, nestled beside the Museum of Sydney.

Food was excellent, service was OK but be sure to check your bill before paying and watch out as the "water" is not free.
