We have reservation last night the waitress keep asking us what time our friends will come, otherwise, she will change the table. Our friends were lost and we asked her to help with the directions, and she doesn't want to help. She is very rude and provide poor services.
We want to order the chicken dish & she said only 3 left no more left, this is ridiculous ! Food taste like it was boiled. Worst place ever!! Not happy and will never recommend anyone!!
Went here the other week for dinner with a few friends. The dishes were unremarkable and you get the feeling that they're just reheating a batch of food that was previously cooked.
The starters were ok, didn't seem entirely fresh and the lamb tagine and meatball dish had that bland quality. French Tiramisu also seemed out of the box. Don't think I will be a repeat patron. You wonder why restauranteurs bother when there seems lack of passion in the cooking. It could potentially be so good!
Delicious food, friendly service, relaxed atmosphere and wonderfully detailed decor, extending even to the restrooms. Little overpriced, but because its worth it, its ok.
I went to this restaurant on recommendation on a very busy Tuesday night which looked promising. But waiting over an hour for my main meal to come and being told it was because we hadn't finished our dips as the excuse was just an insult.
The barramundi was dry and sauce was poor, the merguez sausage tasted like Coles spicy bbq. When I complained about the food I was met with a condescending staff who thought I knew nothing about cooking. In saying this we had great mint tea and desserts to redeem the dodgy fish and waiting time.
I have been here and really enjoyed the friendly, informal atmosphere. Staff were helpful and quick to serve food. The fish main was excellent and we were happy to have good vegetarian options. Recommended.
Went to this place on a saturday night with a friend. Wait staff were great, entree was lovely, main meal mine (lamb tagine) was oily and my friend said that her meat balls were slightly not seasoned - food was average.
Dining here is a really enjoyable experience if you are looking for a casual but lively atmosphere and rustic food. Four of us ate . We had the small salad 'feast' and warm pitta breads for starters and shared 3 mains. The outstanding dish was the lamb tagine. The barramundi needed a bit more seasoning but was tender and aromatic. The vegetarian main pleased my vegerarian husband.
I thought it was fine as far as value for money is concerned, the service was friendly and efficient on a busy saturday night.
We came in on a Sunday night not really knowing what to expect and were so positively overwhelmed by this homely restaurant. It is a breath of fresh air with unpretentious dishes - real food that tastes great and is filling.
Their Lamb Tajine is out of this world. My vegetarian friend was so happy to have several options to choose from on the menu and raved about the stuffed capsicum she chose. The rolled eggplant tasted divine and they make great cocktails they call, "Morroctails." The waiters are very attentive, friendly and quick on their feet. They joked with us but managed to get the food out quickly, which was a big plus.
As far as the decor goes, it's a really warm, visually appealing place, made cosier by the imported ornate Moroccan wall hangings and stunning colourful lanterns. We hadn't seen anything like it in Sydney.
At the end of the day, you'd expect to pay a lot more for this kind of experience and not only will we be back but we're taking friends with us.
I have been here just once and was so pleasantly surprised by this little jewel hidden up on avoca st in Randwick. The decor is intoxicating and the atmosphere is like stepping straight into a back restaurant deep in the heart of Morrocco.
We started with the agadir feast and the incredible eggplant tahini, both of which were out of this world! The service was impeccable, funny and entertaining and the atmosphere between the staff was really comfortable and classy. A must try is the Vegeterian shakshuka and the tangy chicken rissoles. You must try tthis one !
I thought it was expensive for what it is. For four, we had the salads to start, then 4 mains which was more than enough. We were sort of "forced" by the waitress to have four dishes.
The food is tasty, byo or licensed and the setting is nice. I just though it was over priced.
