Truly superb Moroccan food (Tagine Lamb is best I've had) let down only by service.
So, the bad: waitress is arrogant, difficult, rude. Don't know if it was the senior staff on duty but he was inflexible (with a straight face, no apologies or consideration in his decision to refuse minor requests). Odd that they would behave in a place that otherwise is truly a worthwhile dining experience.
The ambience takes you straight in from the moment you enter: colourful, Moroccan lamps and decorations everywhere, well lit, pleasant music... also busy and vibing without being too loud. Food of course is the highlight, excellent light and delicate couscous, tagine dishes that are super rich flavoured and a good menu and selections that won't disappoint. Just consider whether service can be a damper on your evening, because it was for us and many other reviewers it seems!

I had an incredibly horrible experience at this restaurant last night. My friend and I had wanted to go to this restaurant for a long time as we had heard great things and finally got around to it. Although the food was amazing, the treatment we received from one of the waitresses was rude, aggressive and threatening. We were there after buying a voucher off living social which included entrée, mains and a bottle of red/white wine.
The waitress brought out white wine and we asked if we could have red wine instead. The waitress told us that the red had run out and we could only have white wine. We merely wanted to enquire about the possibility of getting a more expensive bottle of red and paying the difference but instead of politely and calmly telling us that that was not possible, she ended up pointing her finger in my face, yelling at me, telling me what a bad day she had and that the last thing she needed was customers like us. She refused to let us speak to anyone else and then ignored us.
A while later she came back with 2 complimentary glasses of lemonade for what I guessed was going to be an apology for her behaviour. She instead put the lemonade on the table and stated that after 7 years of working in the industry, she has never been pushed so far as to make her loose her temper- she made me feel even worse by saying that I had been a rude customer when I really wasn't trying to be difficult. As paying customers, we didn’t expect to be yelled at when we were trying to have a nice night out.
Extremely shaken up and disappointed and will never go back again!

We went here on a voucher and had a shared entree platter (various dips, salads and pita bread), 2 mains and a bottle of red wine. The entree platter was really nice, the Moroccan moussaka was amazing and the lamb was jut divine! Service was friendly and superquick, and the place has a nice atmosphere about it. We'll definitely be back.

We were thoroughly impressed with the food at Moroccan Feast. The dishes were full of great flavour. The pita for dipping was fantastic and fresh. We visited on a week night and it got quite busy. The noise was loud, but we could hear each other. The service was good. The meals are not huge, but filling. Overall, we had a great experience at the Moroccan Feast and will visit again.

This is my new favourite restaurant. Love the food. The waitresses are a bit rude and not very attentive but you are distracted from that by the beautiful food. Really wish I could afford to eat here once a week but a little bit pricey for a small restaurant in Randwick.

The food is very nice and tasty. We had the agadeers feast and the eggplant rolls for entrees. The eggplant rolls were really delicious and the feast, which is a mix of small dips and salads, was nice as well.
For mains we had the premium beef and the lamb tagine. The tagine was exceptional. The service was friendly. This place is worth a try IMO.

Family dinner at this restaurant. Cozy little restaurant, but design of room makes it echo-ey and you can hear the conversation on the far side of the room. Not the best place for a romantic dinner.
Service is good. Manager is straight to the point on how things taste and how big each serve is. Hubs tried was in a joking mood, but don't think that brushed so well with him. Nice fella.
Food was very nice. We started off with the combination of salads and dips. All very pleasant. We particularly liked the babaganoush and Fez Matbah. Extra pita we asked for was another $1.80. We ended up spending an extra $15 or so dollars for. We also tried the Spicy meat Moroccan Cigars and the Rolled Eggplant. Rolled eggplant was especially favoured on the table.
For mains, the lamb tajine (had to try if after reading For Artsake's review-thankyou by the way), the marrakesh chicken and a beef tagine (not on the menu, cooked with tomato and peas) were tasted. A word of caution, don't get too excited with the ordering as one tajine can easily feed two to three people depending on appetite. All were lovely. Came on a bed of coucous and extremely tender melt in the mouth meat...even the chicken was impressive.
Finished the meal with mint tea, waffle with ice cream and cinnamon apple pie. Nothing fabulous though. Mumsie had the Hot apply cider with cinnamon stick. Loved it.
All in all, good night out with the fam. Provided the voucher when paying the bill, but they forgot to take it off. Sadly, I had only realised this almost a week after we had dined. Called up to let them know about it. He said he would take my word for it and I could come back in and use it. Paid about $230 for the night, 5 adults and 2 children.
Think I will come back here in Winter to have that lovely tagine again. Tastes good already, image how good it would taste on a cold winters night. Definitely recommendable.

Booked a table on the recommendation of friends and what a great find. Friendly and enthusiastic staff, nice decor and a great vibe. The food itself was excellent and although it does offer BYO, the wine list looked really reasonable.
The spicy Moroccan cigars and rolled eggplant were fantastic starters. For mains, we had the Lamb Tagine, which fell off the bone and the Chicken Kourdrass, which was lovely and tender with an amazing freshness from the preserved lemons and limes. We'll definitely be back for more.

It was a little difficult to find somewhere that was open on NYE, but this place was a nice surprise. Tasty food and good service meant for a pleasant start to the evening.

Excellent food and the service was very smooth. As a BYO their alcohol options are a bit limited,as some cocktails options would have really been nice, but would come here again without hesitation.
