Lovely, friendly service, great range of Japanese and Korean food (love the okonomiyaki). Generous servings. Have been three times in eight months and will go back! Slightly cramped on a saturday evening but it's to be expected for a gem like this.

Mori is a superb Japanese/Korean restaurant with some very good food indeed. Bento boxes are a bit of a specialty, as are the excellent bibimbaps at a very decent price. I highly recommend Mori, but keep in mind that if you're looking for the best pure sushi restaurant, nearby Asahi is a little bit better.

Definitely worthy of the good reviews. Everything we ate was delicious and I'm looking forward to going back and trying more. Only just squeezed in at 6:30pm with no booking, so it's advisable to book. Don't expect much, ambience-wise, and you won't be disappointed!

Hornsby's best kept secret. Never had a bad meal here. Sushi is always made fresh to order and the korean options are quite tasty as well. Price is also a draw card for those wanting a healthy and delicious affordable meal.

Have found most of the eateries on this side of the station the best value for money. Just walked by and like the interior so took a seat. Very friendly staff, service was very fast, had orders within 10 minutes but was only another 4 couples.

Food presented excellently and tasted great, as has been mentioned on other post Bento box, excellent value. The place in newish and very clean. Happy to recommend and will go back after I have tried all the other places nearby after moving to Hornsby.

Great place to eat :) come here regularly, the staff are lovely. Meals are great and so cheap! I recommend box set a and the korean menu is also good :D Highly recommended!

Very much cafe style but excellent sushi and miso soup. Very popular and I can see why. The bento boxes are very good value with large servings. The service very enthusiastic and fast.

This place has to be one of Hornsby's best kept secrets. Top quality, yet highly affordable sushi.

Be warned though, once you eat here you will never be able to eat sushi from anywhere else again without saying 'this is nothing like Mori'. Although they have a range of yummy dishes, one of the most popular attractions seems to be the large sushi rolls, which generally go for $6 each and include a miso soup. Whilst my co workers are full up after the one roll, I often order two. This still only sets me back $11 and I am full.

The staff often struggle with English, but they make up for it with enthusiasm and friendliness. The owner Bill is lovely and is always happy to take special requests. I really can't fault this place, with my only gripe being that I wish it wasn't located so close to my workplace as I find myself in there almost every day! If you are going for dinner I would recommend booking as the place can fill up in a second.
