Poor quality food especially when it has great potential, it has a lovely spacious courtyard at the back. However, considering its a turkish restaurant, the turkish kebab was definitely mediocre and took half an hour to cook. My partner said it was the worst kebab he ever tasted, I wouldn't go that far but it was disappointing.
The food is beautiful! Definitely get the Cheese Cigars. Sometimes they have a piano player which really adds to the ambience. The dishes are really well priced. The food is a little slow to come out, but the staff are extremely polite and definitely the epitome of great customer service. I love this place!
I just love this place! It is always quiet, the staff are always friendly and you can custom order whatever you like. If it's not on the menu, just ask and chances are, they can do it. There is no corkage which is nice because there is a cosy, well priced wine shop about 30 seconds away. The dips are to die for and the staff are most accomodating considering that our usual dining party consists of a vegan, a diabetic and a coeliac. One of the staff members is almost victorian in terms of his manner, speaking to us as if we were royalty. Not to mention, they have recently extended out their back deck which is nice and leafy and the skylights inside make for a lovely early summer dinner.
Lacking in ambience, reasonable coffee. Cheap food, but you get what you pay for. Extremely long wait on the food, even on a quiet day. Fairly good pizza. Take away food in a semi restaurant setting.only if the pizzeria next door is full. Nothing to rave about.
Fabulous cooked breakfast on the weekend. Vegetarian option (Moores special breakfast) is fantastic, comes with fetta, turkish bread, eggplant, hash brown, tomato, hommus, unlike other places where you end up with spinach, tomato and baked beans. Also, the aroma of the lamb skewers roasting, covered in rosemary is to die for.
On a not-busy weekend we had to beg the staff to remove someone else's scum from the table. Yeah, the food's kinda cheap but the burgers were the worst I've ever eaten in a cafe - think frozen no frills meat patties (I'm not kidding!) and you pay an extra $2 for literally 3 hot chips.
The best place in Sydney for weekday outings. Customised pasta and risotto. Fast and friendly service. Huge servings with delicious coffee/mediterranean aromas.
