Overview
Moksha redefines classic indian cuisine with a contemporary twist and an elegant modern decor.Moksha offers an innovative menu with a selection of dishes from northwest frontier, nawabi and southern indian cuisine which are rarely seen elsewhere in sydney
It’s a best Indian restaurant with great taste, ambience, value and for best service. The service was great, staff was very receptive and polite, the decor was lovely, a very clean restaurant. If you like Indian food and live in the area, it would be worth a visit.
My two visits at Moksha definitely made me want to go back to this place. Because of the food offered. The meals were exquisite, made from fresh ingredients and full of delicious flavours. I must admit that I had a though time with the Beef Vindaloo the last time I went there, it was hotter than at other places Indian places around Sydney. But delicious. The first time I went there with a party of five, the second time we were just the two of us. Everyone was happy with all the different dishes we tried.
The service can be a bit slow at times, especially because Moksha is usually very busy (we had to find another place once because we strolled along without reservation) - maybe a bit understaffed. I enjoyed the ambience and the food, and the experience was definitely good value. One of my favourite Indian places in Sydney.
Moksha in Jannali offers great Indian food at reasonable prices. The flavours are fantastic and unique. The atmosphere is warm and friendly. This is one restaurant I will definitely frequent in the future.
Have only been to this restaurant on one occasion however, we were extremely impressed and have recommended to several friends. The food was fresh and vibrant, and one of the most appealing Indian meals I have seen in a long time.
The staff were pleasant and eager to help at all times and the menu is really reasonably priced for the quality of the meals. We will definitely be going back.
Good value for money, food is great, chicken tikka masala was the best I've tasted in a long time. Service was very slack, one waiter on duty, chef also was bringing food out to tables, this restaurant have the food part spot on, they just have to brush up on their customer skills. Overall a great meal I will be back.
As good as any Indian restaurant in Sydney and better than most. The Food and the flavour is why you eat here, the service is not up to fine dining standards, and does not try to be, have a relaxed attitude to that, and you will enjoy a wonderful meal. The lamb chop/cutlet entree is very special, and worth the visit on its own, the rest of the extensive menu is all Top class and full of wonderful flavours. Great value, wish it was in my neighbourhood.
This would have to be the best Indian food in the south, we have eaten here countless times. The masala dosa and the namaste prawns are just awesome. We have introduced many people to this little gold mine.
Food is good no doubt, but don't ask about the service.!! Its simply awful. I mean it guys, there is only one waiter who is mannerless and rude! We stopped going to this place and just prefer takeaways thesedays.
I only got an entree and it wasn't quite what I wanted in the end, but the ppl I was with seemed to enjoy the meals, nice atmosphere, service lacking when busy, try the paneer main.
