Rather disappointing experience. Sorry to say that, but the flavours were not really authentic Vietnamese. Some dishes were not even edible. The banh xeo pancake was raw on the inside and completely bland, no flavour at all. They put fried onion flakes on everything. I do not get it.

I really enjoyed the flavours of the dishes we ate, some of which were completely different to what I've eaten before. All three were of a high quality, beef flambe, miss saigon shaking lamb and the satay chicken skewers. Making your own rolls with the flambe and extras is well worthwhile.
The servers get the job done, but not overly pro-active, and the value is pretty good (especially with the Entertainment book voucher).

Had dinner here the other night. It is pretty good food, we had the pho rare beef on request as it is not on the menu during the evening and salt and pepper squid. The squid was a bit dry but the pho was fantastic. Meal was fairly good value. The service is efficient but you can't really ask for small talk. I'd go there ago for sure.

This restaurant gets a gold star for the time it took to take the order, (you blink) and your food was on the table. Wow amazingly fast! We had the beef flambe, which came with rice paper rolls, vermicelli, sprouts, lettuce, pickled carrot and lovely fresh mint. Very tasty, the beef was beautifully tender and tasty, so much fillings available it was difficult to roll the rice paper rolls.
Second course was the stir seafood (ling, prawns and calamari) with lemongrass and chilli, nice but not spectacular. A pleasant dinner, will return with the family.

Nice res! foods are lovely, service is nothing to complaint. Entree goes for Duck roll, Spring roll or Summer roll (rice paper roll) and pancake with fish souce is also yum. Most of their mains are stir-fried sizzling dishes but when you choose the meat void beef, beef taste horrible. However Shaking-Beef cube or Shaking-Lamb taste wonderful. Yes, boneless duck are too dry as the other said.
If you are happy with all the service and food and intend to tip, go for cash. Staff there prefer coins or note, tips in card belong to the owner and it won't be shared. Recommended! 7/10 for Miss Saigon Balmain.

Great food and great value for money. Summer Rolls were fresh and tasty. Ditto on the Prawn salad. Very generous with the prawns (which were huge). Great serving sizes and value for money. Its great for a cheap and cheerful weeknight dinner or weekend lunch. Very cheap, great food and good value, will go again.

Miss Saigon had a very comprehensive menu which made it awfully difficult to choose. It would be better to have a few key dishes done well. The satay chicken skewers and prawn dumplings were lovely, however, the crumbed duck was disappointingly dry.
Service was ok. When we asked for water, we were given a huge water jug that we could barely pour from. Not sure that I would go again.

Having been overseas for the last 2 years but having fond memories of Miss Saigon before we left, it was very pleasing to come back and see they haven't changed, lovely fresh tasting food, warm service and a nice price! There is a need for some Miss Saigons in the U.K.
