Overview of Miss Marley's

One of Sydney's coolest drinking and dining establishments, Miss Marley's embodies everything that is great about Manly - exceptional food and the finest cocktails delivered in a friendly and casual environment.

As you slide through the sheer curtains at the entrance, you'll feel as though you've been transported back to the '50's - when style and sophistication reigned supreme. The retro backdrop and candle-lit tables provide an ambiance like nowhere else in Manly, and a read through the menu is sure to get your taste buds tingling.

Menu executed by Head Chef Paul Del Altura and the discernable tastes of owner Kieran Bailey, the menu is a concoction of traditional Pan American flavours mixed with some modern flair. Featuring classic Central & South American dishes, as well as influences from Cuba and the Caribbean, it may take you a while to decide which dish to choose!

Luckily, the extensive cocktail and wine menus are on hand to tide you over. Having been created with the same influences in mind, you are sure to find the perfect drink to accompany your meal.

I will never be going here again. The waitstaff are rude and inflexible, and the food and drinks are overpriced.

Was lucky enough to spot a voucher deal for Miss Marley's. There are so many restaurant ones and I rarely take advantage of them as I hate being a "voucher" customer, but rest assured, the staff at Miss Marley's don't make you feel inferior at all. We loved our cocktails and the degustation dishes that came out were well timed, beautifully cooked, thoughtfully matched and excellent value. I just wish we were younger and better looking so that we blended in better with the other beautiful people in this very trendy, but welcoming bar. Well done Miss Marley's for adding a lot of class to Manly's fairly average bar scene. Can't wait to return.

I was taken here for my Birthday for the degustation. It was mid week and not very busy at 7pm. By 8pm, almost all the tables were full but the place didn't seem overly busy, this was a positive for us as all the tables received ample attention.

Service was personal and swift, the mixologist was constantly busy, he didn't stop mixing and pouring for the two hours we were there, so obviously everybody loved their drinks

The degustation was very nice, not too fancy, but nicer than most at the price point. Overall, loved the ambience and the experience and would recommend if you're after something relaxed and nice, but not too fancy or snobby. Also I loved their drinks menu.

Took the wife and teenagers there on a hot Sydney night, wifey like the cocktails, and the mixed plate ensured everyone was happy. The pork belly and the lamb were the stand outs. Something different and worth a visit.

This is a gorgeous little small bar type place with tables for dining and couches for casual drinking. It is funky, beautifully decorated, the bathroom walls have fake green grass!

To top it off its located on a busy unattractive street in Manly and you wouldn't know its there but once you are inside you wouldn't even know you were on a busy street when you are inside. Its the kind of place you would expect in Surry Hills.

Food is tapas style share plates and we really enjoyed it. Good wine and the service was great. Bonus is that it was a place where they played the music at the right volume so you can actually talk without screaming. I loved this place and am recommending it to everyone.

My favourite type of nightspots are the ones that have delectable cocktails and mouthwatering menus. It has to have both and not just one without the other. This place was buzzing with people inside and out with a dj mixing up some funky music. The interior is dark with the only light omitting from the tealight candles – think silver wallpaper, sheer gold curtains, hidden corners and low comfy couches. We order a cocktail each and they’re amazing! The La Bomba is our top pick! with all the flavours. Along with the Tunapica. Great little place to chill and gossip.

Went there with my GF and we really enjoyed the experience of different atmosphere in the restaurant.

Food was brilliant, expecially Goats curd and basil stuffed mushrooms. I had never had the beautiful dish before, very talented fine dish. I got nothing more to add about ambience (others already mentioned). Just as nice and cozy.

Service was good but it took a while to get the first drink, they came after 2nd dish was served. Mine came even 10 min after my GF's. It looks all others were also getting their drinks quite late.

We had four shared dishes and two cocktails with coupon for $49 ($109 value) but weren't full so ordered another dish. It is very nice place to have a drink and bites but a bit too expensive. I'd come after filling my stomach somewhere else before coming to the restaurant again.

Loved it and we'll be back! The ribs and the ham/cheese croquettes we're amazing. We had to keep chasing water but that's a really minor problem.

We went there on Sunday night, there were about 10 other people there. The service was good, the cocktails were pretty average and the share plates were ok. It wasn't the best food we'd ever tasted and it's not somewhere you'd go if you were on a budget. We has the empanadas, mushrooms, ribs and something else I don't know the name of but it was way too salty.

The music and decor gave the place a great ambience and overall its a nice place to sit and have a drink but I don't think we'll be back for the food.

They've tried very hard to make you forget that you are in a converted shop on a main road in Manly and make it feel more like a Surry Hills / Darlinghurst small bar. Funky music and eclectic decor.

The food was great (although small portions - very tapas style) and the girl asked without prompting for any food allergies.

The drinks were tasty and out-of-the-ordinary. The wine we had was lovely, although a lack of knowledge of South American wine could hamstring some punters.

A little exe for Manly but also a nice change from risking getting your brains beaten out at one of the pubs around there.
