Was keen to try this place out, as thought it would be nice to have breakfast by the water. The waitress who served us had a huge attitude problem, which did not help.

We ordered the Big Breakfast, it was really slow to come out, and even the coffees took forever. My husband had to go and ask where they were after waiting 20mins for them. Once the food came out, it was just ok, but I have to say the overall experience was disappointing, and I won't be going back.

My partner & I have been quite regular customers of Sugaroom & semi-regular customers of Milk & Two. We had not been to Milk & Two for a while, so this morning feeling like a nice meal by the water, we thought we would return.
We couldn't have been more disappointed.

The new menu is not only overpriced & lacking in diversity, but the food on offer is bland & mediocre at best. We eat out for breakfast a lot & I can't remember the last time I received food of this standard with such an outrageous price tag.
We ordered the chorizo, potato, capsicum & herb omelette & the waffles with grilled banana & toasted hazelnut cream.

The omelette was flavourless without a hit of 'herb', the chorizo was full of gristle and it was served with cold, pale, white supermarket bread with no butter. I can't remember the last time I ventured into any cafe where this was the sort of bread on offer. It is the kind of toast you expect to be served at a dodgy cafe in a shopping centre food court.

Truly memorable for all the Wrong reasons. Not much to say about the waffles expect that $13.50 (for one waffle, a banana, a miniscule drizzle of maple syrup & small dollop of cream), is just appalling. We felt as though our taste buds had been violated.

The menu doesn't even offer the option of sides to add to your breakfast. I remember fondly the good old days of the roasted potato side. Add to this the brusque & indifferent service & you have a breakfast experience Never to be repeated.

Had brunch with my husband as it's convinient to go as we live in the area. We found everything to be mediocre. Not a place in a hurry to go back again nor recommend to our friends.

I took my 80 yo old Grandmother and 10 month yo niece for a Monday lunch and the staff were both accommodating and helpful, but not over the top. Everyone really enjoyed the food which was really standard cafe fare but the bonus of the view and parking out the front (easy on a rainy weekday) made this a great lunch solution which felt a little special.

Note: They do not accept byo birthday cakes, they must be purchased from the premises. I'm glad I don't have the terrible job of telling the birthday boy/girl! Use your common sense people, happy customers are the ones that will return, not those who are disappointed on their birthday!

We went to Milk & Two for NYE with a party of 8 and must say had a great time.
They had a set menu for the evening and I must say we found the food to be excellent and the service while a little slow was perfect for the evening as we waited for the fireworks to kick off.

Mussels entree was perfectly cooked and the sauce divine, we had extra bread to mop it up. But the best was yet to come - the barramundi main was superb - this was sublime sitting on bed of parsnip puree and a white bean side.

The only thing which went slightly wrong was an undercooked steak which was swiftly taken away and a new perfectly cooked one returned with little fuss.
All in all for $50 a head plus wine for a water view restaurant from which we could watch the fireworks absolutely fantastic value for money.

Wait staff were young but enthusiastic and friendly, and we enjoyed their friendly banter through the evening - drinks were served prompty and nothing seemed too much problem for them. A very different experience to other diners obviously!

Had great scrambled eggs here. Really Interesting and tasty. Coffee was good as well. Also love the spot - a great place to have breakfast.

The location of this restaurant is great. It is really nice to be able to sit by the water on a weekend morning and have breakfast. The service here is not so great. Coffee orders were taken and the wrong coffee was delivered about three times. The other disappointing aspect was the menu. The first 9 dishes are big servings of eggs. The only non-egg dish after this was a very sweet looking waffle dish.

As I am not a huge fan of eggs and was looking for something savoury, I ordered olive tapenade and toast from a large blackboard with specials written on it. I was then told I could not order this as this was a lunch time item. Not sure why they had the board out as this was the only savoury item on it and a long list of desserts! I ordered a breakfast quiche and was told that they might have also run out of these and what was my third choice!!??

I decided on a blueberry muffin, which I have to say was very nice. I went with 6 other people and their food all looked nice, just a pity about the lack of imagination and availability of food and also the really bad service.

Sydney siders love to eat near the water, and this is all Milk & Two has going for it. After enjoying a fabulous meal at its bigger sister Sugarroom, we anticipated much more than what we got. After waiting for a table we thought had been booked online (and didn't they tell us otherwise!) the surly wait staff shoved menus under our noses asking what we wanted a second after sitting. At 11:55am one of us wanted to eat lunch, but couldn't order as lunch is ordered after 12pm only.

For the salad option, $16 you get a tin of chick peas, 3 cherry tomatoes and a teaspoon of avocado, total rip off and a bland waste of time. The eggs benedict hollandaise sauce was tasteless, $14 for a couple of pieces of fruit with yoghurt and it was nearly impossible to order a simple bacon and eggs, $5.50 milkshakes come in the tall metal cups but only half full. Look out for the Sunday surcharge. Milk and Two left us with a terribly sour taste in our mouths.

Really good location. We tried the pizzas, braised beef and the chickpea salad. All really good and fresh.

It was one of the worst lunch I had for a few years. I live in Pyrmont and been to most of restaurants but haven't been there because of the bad review. But we had an oversea visitor and wanted to go somewhere close and had a nice view. So we decided to try this cafe. It lived up to the review.

My husband had eggs benedict with smoked salmon which turned out to be 1 small piece of stone hard toast with 2 eggs and 2 tiny average quality slices of salmon on top. Do you want to pay $17.6 inc Sun 10% surcharge for that?

I had prosciutto, roast tomato and rocket pizza which was also very hard and I found 1 piece of tomato and max 3 slices of prosciutto on it. It was sliced into 8 pieces so you'd have 1/3 of 1 slice prosciutto on each pieces. I even had to check if it has any cheese on it. I hated to pay $17.6 for that too. As you can imagin, my husband was still so hungry, he took a piece of my pizza. He had to dip it into egg york left in his finished dish to make it edible. We will not going back and will tell all out friends not to go there.
