Pho is ok considering the price they charge. They're better than some of the vietnamese places I've tried in Bankstown. I wouldn't go for any of their dishes served with "tomato" rice though. I had the fried chicken leg with tomato rice. Chicken was tasty but the rice had the gooey texture as if it was microwaved!

But for Pho and stir fried noodles, I rate this place. Also their salt and chilli squid are awesome.

I usually have lunch here. It's pretty cheap. It's not much of a restaurant, it's more of a self service place. Good if you want food that comes fast.

Food is fresh, thanks to the high volume turn-over, keep things going. Food is cheap but if you have eaten else where, you would realise meridian down sized their proportion of beef that they put in their pho.

Eating utensils are disgusting, I have seen waiter/waitress wiping wet chopsticks with veges hanging on the chopsticks as he picked them up from the tray. Did they wash it properly or just rinsed it? Anyone else seen this or is it just me seeing things?

Great for a quick dinner. Used to love the Pho here though it has gone downhill. Portion has become smaller and the soup base isn't as tasty as before. Seems like they're starting to skimp on ingredients. Everything else on the menu is good for a cheap price.

Food is awesome and cheap! Don't go there for a first date though, it is definitely a pub. Food is so good, best Pho in town! This is the place we often go for a quick cheap eat.

An Asian restaurant full of Asians is usually a good sign. For reasonable quality food at a cheap price, you'll be hard pressed to top this one. The broth in some of the soups is great. Although self serve for the cutlery etc. I'll do this to save a few bucks. Definitely recommend. If you're looking for a more conventional restaurant atmosphere, please stay away as you will be bitterly disappointed. Plus that will make more room for me!

Food is very quick and not just typical pub feed either. The chicken tomato fried rice is very good for the price ($7.50), as are the beef soup ($7) and chicken/veal schnitzel + chips ($8). Prices are given as at 2009. And the free tea that comes with it solidifies my 10 rating for value. Quite simply, it's the cheapest proper dine-in place in Hurstville. You can watch pay tv sports, play the arcades or pool while waiting.

The only downside is that you have to get everything else, cutlery, tea, tissues etc yourself as they want to cut on unnecessary staff prices. Fair enough though for the pittance you pay for the dishes on offer.

The food has really gone down hill since about a year ago. We no longer dine here.

Fast, cheap and tasty what more could you want? Large selection of Chinese/Vietnamese style dishes. Cheap at around $7-$10 each. Served very quickly to your table after you have ordered at the register. Great for when you want a fast meal. Pub atmosphere may not appeal to all.

Had dinner here wed night, needed something quick and cheap after shopping to deaf at newtown all day. I have been here many times and always great food. Had combo seafood chowmein and crispy chicken with rice noodle soup. The soup bowl was so big I could of had a bath in it. For $18 bucks for two people splitting at the sides I would say one of cheapest dinners for a long time. The staff were also friendly and one of the girls wanted to touch my wifes belly [being pregnant] that is pretty funny. If you want cheap food that tastes great and very quick service you won't be disappointed.
