I will not go there again. Totally not recommended! The staffs must be brainless.

Me and my boyfriend order two drinks to start, during ordering my boyfriend have change his mind and order another drink. But still we only order two drinks. At the end three drinks have delivered to our table. And I tell the staff we haven't order for the third one and we don't want that. The staff insist we have order three.

Then I said during the ordering my boyfriend is changing his mind to order another one not another more. He said he think weird that two person to have three drinks too after take the order. I said if you think that's weird you should have asked, or least repeat to the guest what they have ordered. But he didn't. I asked the staff to take the drink away. But then he said I can take it away but I still have to charge you for the third drink.

At that point I was so angry and I ask for the senior staff. I tell the senior staff about what happen and he agree not to charge us the third drink. We plan to have the drink first then order the food. But the staff and the senior staff are too awful. And we decide to leave after finish the drinks. I will never return!

Overall, impressed with the meeting point. We went for dinner on a Tues night. It was full of customers, a good sign. We had the calamari and sausage entree. Both fantastic. The salt and pepper on the calamari was near perfect. The sausage was sweet and was well accented with the fresh garlic. We had two hot pots (miso and pork), which came with a large amount of items for cooking. Really a lot of food.

The house wine was even quite a good one. Really pleased. The desserts were fresh tasting and were a good finisher to the meal. We were happy with our visit to the restaurant. Definitely will recommend it to others.

Delicious food, fantastic service and charming decor! Many thanks to the kind staff who really went out of their way to make us feel welcome, constantly clearing away empty plates, and offering us fresh napkins to dry ourselves off with and a jug of warm water (instead of cold) when we arrived, freezing and dripping wet from the rain outside.

We got both the miso and the seaweed and fish broth for the shabu shabu, and enjoyed them immensely, especially the seaweed and fish broth. The portions were generous, fresh and high in quality. The fried chicken-stuffed rolls were done to perfection (juicy on the inside and crisp on the outside), as was the jellyfish entree. We also got the three-cup chicken bento box. The sauce for the chicken was absolutely spot on.

The pearl milk tea was the perfect accompaniment to our meal, and my brother and I loved the fact that they were served in 0.5L milk bottles. Very cute and very satisfying! The desserts were also really yummy. We got the strawberry pannacotta and the mango sago pudding.

We went using a voucher, so value was definitely not an issue for us, but even without it we wouldn't really have complained. Highly recommended!

Had lunch here a few times after a conference (it's opposite the entertainment center), the food is very high quality and had good lunch boxes that was very satisfying. The drink selection was also refreshingly different!

Was never into Taiwanese food, but after going here will definitely try more places! The ambience is very nice, it's dark and intimate with a fresh breeze flowing through the venue.

We came here with a voucher and the shabu-shabu was great. The voucher was for 2 and we came as a family of 4. There was plenty of food, it was all nice and we were all satisfied. With the voucher it was good value for money. We did feel like we were the only caucasians there, but the staff went out of there way to explain the dishes to us. We would come back again and recommend it to any of our friends.

Don't even bother... I ordered 2 bento boxes and it came with super dry and over seasoned chicken breast (which is a big no no in an asian restaurant). The veggies that came with it was nothing but from a bag of frozen peas, carrots and corn sauted with a bit of ham. I can see it's doors closing within 6-12 months.

The service is an absolute star. Re-filling water and taking away empty plates very prompty, and lovely manners. The food was very Taiwanese with a little fusion to make the dish more interesting. We tried the skewers (yum!), special spicey noodle soup, and seaweed salad (different and delicious). Didn't get to try the hot pot, but will next time!

The atmosphere and service is good, but the soup noodles that I tried made me very thirsty for hours afterwards.

Another friend came here and didn't like it. For myself its ok, nothing out standing but it wasn't bad either. I do like the various choices they have.Price does not match what i expect in terms of portion, especially the size of the noodles you get, its small. The place has a upstairs/downstairs area which is comfortable. The service though was good, quick, attentive and when my friend dropped his utensils, the staff came straight away to give a clean one.

"Meeting Point is a place where young people could meet and hang out while enjoying traditional Taiwanese Cuisine." This is the introduction I got from the ads. To me, customer should not be treated by rude service and bad food.

The food is so not Traditional Taiwanese food. I went there once, the noodle is too plain, they did not even use the right noodle. The ox tongue taste strange. I left the place after 3 dishes and change to another restaurant just because everything goes wrong in the Meeting Point. This place gave me big disappointment.
