Went here last night for dinner. Fabulous food. Fresh and vibrant. We had the Tuna on Betel leaf, very tasty followed by the “full moon party” which was on the specials. I must say this was truly a wonderful dish. Excellent flavours with fresh seafood. Service is great. Overall I highly recommend.

Went here on my birthday, table of 4, best kept secret in Hornsby! It's a gem of a little restaurant, small and cosy, decor is wooden, overall relaxing. Although next to the railway, one cannot hear or notice any noise.

The service was impeccable. Our waiter was polite attentive and explained the menu and recommended according to our tastes. The food was excellent, serving size ample, we ordered pad thai (always an indicator of good thai food), roti (excellent - not greasy), duck stir fry, duck penang curry, vege stir fry with cashew nut sauce, the only dish that was disappointing was the steamed barramundi with lime juice, a little fishy.

Apart from that I would definitely go again and again. I have been to a number of Thai restaurants and this is up there with the best of them. Highly recommend.

This seems like a relatively authentic Thai experience, right down to the toilet with the mercifully unfindable light switch. Tuna on betel leaf was tasty and had crunch and bite. Jungle curry with prawns was salty and sour and duck with chilli jam was sticky and succulent. For a little shop across from the station on the old side of Hornsby, this was not bad at all.

My wife and I found the reviews intriguing, especially since they suggested that the menu was more extensive, and the food better, than most Thai restaurants. Our hunch was right. The food was splendid (ranging from excellent to spectacular). We're going back, probably many times.

I recently took my overseas visitors to the Hunter Valley. On the way back, we stopped by Hornsby for dinner. We gave this new Thai restaurant a try. I have been a fan of Chaimee Thai in Drummoyne for its high quality dishes. This new branch in Hornsby didn't disappoint me. We ordered an entree and a few mains. I particularly like the Massamun beef curry, for its rich flavour. My oversea visitors really enjoyed the Pu Nim Tod Krob (soft shell crab) and the Chilli Jam Roast Duck. We all enjoyed the night. Overall, I think this new branch is almost as good as its Drummoyne branch. Well done and keep up the good work. I'll come back again.

The food here is totally amazing. We've eaten there 4 or 5 times, had different things, and never had anything less than really good, and some of the food is just spectacular, and some traditional Thai style dished you don't get in your average thai place.

These guys are obviously "figuring out" how to run a restaurant, the service is genuine but doesn't come easily to the host. He informed me on one occasion that the dish I ordered had been prepared, but "wasn't good enough" to bring out.. ! Bless.

If you have time on your hands and like really great thai food definitely give this place a shot. Not for a quick in and out meal.
