Hated the place. What a waste of time and money! Paid $50 a head for supposedly a 3 course meal. Entree was a stale bread roll with butter, dessert was a couple biscuits and the main was a group plate (a small one) of fish, lamb and very oily vegetables. The lamb did not even resemble anything edible. The atmosphere was nothing special either considering it is supposed to be an entertainment restaurant, couldn't hear anything the drag queen was saying despite the fact he entertained for all of 10 minutes and the Greek dancers didn't even try to engage with people inside the restaurant. Furthermore, we were told there would be some plate throwing. At least if there was I'd almost feel like a got my money's worth.

As for the service: the bar tender didn't even know how to make a vodka sunrise! they would not allow us to see any menus or start ordering drinks till after every person had paid. We never did get a menu, it was like taste to identify the food.

Don't waste any money on this tacky venue, especially if you are young because I'm pretty sure my table got taken advantage of for that reason. If you want entertainment, go to a show and if you want good food, go to a proper restaurant because sadly, this place is a pathetic excuse for either.

This sparkling new Greek restaurant, opened recently. It's incredibly spacious, with a great selection on the menu. Had trouble deciding what to get, so we ordered the mezze platter. This was the perfect choice, since we got to try quite a few dishes. The serving sizes were generous, and incredibly tasty. Highly recommended.

The ambience and service were fabulous. Great atmosphere complimented by a wide selection of food. Great for a girls night out and a fabulous venue for a function. Highly recommend.

My company booked Mediterranean for a colleague farewell party last week. We had really good time over there. The restaurant is very spacious, modern with classic Greek white and blue color decorations. The service was professional, the food was delicious. It was also fun watching the chef preparing the food through glass window. Value for the money, you should make your booking now!

I went there with some friends two saturdays ago as a get together, we saw this place being renovated (as we work in the city) and decided to give it a try. We've been to Opah Greek Yum Cha before so we have had the standard set high in terms of a Greek night out.

In terms of food, it tasted ok, I've had better lamb before but the souvlaki was tasty. For the money we paid ($50p.p), it wasn't quite worth it. The hostess for the night was good, not great and charismatic as one would expect. The service was a little un organised but maybe its just teething problems.

I will go back in a few months time, I have faith in them but for now I'd put my money elsewhere.

I was there for dinner last Friday with my work colleagues.
The food was fantastic! I ordered the eggplant dish which is yummy and all my friends enjoyed the food as well. The chips made by the fresh potato which is very very nice. The Greece salad was fresh and the lamb was well cook. I also like the decoration of the restaurant. It's special and nice restaurant. Good food and enjoyable.

I attended a birthday party at The Mediterranean. The restaurant is enormous, with plenty of space to hold private functions. I loved the cool lighting! The roof is lit up with a blue light, and there are lights in the bar that change colour! It's a well themed party venue that definitely impressed all the guests. Looking forward to going back for dinner, as all the canapes served at the party were delicious!

Discovered this restaurant by chance, it was like walking into another world amazing decor. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and contributed to a very enjoyable experience.

The food was beautiful I had the lamb which was succulent and delicious and my wife had the stuffed eggplant which was also very nice, in all the servings were very generous and I would definitely go back. Overall I would highly recommend this restaurant. Cheers

Just flew in from Perth for a work meeting so we decided to go and eat in town so we went to the mediterranean at oxsford street. The place was amazing I was surprised at the atmosphere of the place, it is nice to know that there is a new place in Sydney where you can eat really nice food. I will come back to visit as it was excellent, I recommend 10/10 as I come to Sydney once a month.

Souvlaki and Lamb is to die for, just melt in mouth. I have not seen beautiful and classic restaurant like this one anywhere else. Highly recommended.
