Went here for a hens night not long ago. The place is a party from the moment you step in! Great atmosphere, it used to be the DCM nightclub back in the day and I think they kept the sound system. We had a 6? course menu and everyone loved the food. The entertainment was awesome as well.

A drag queen, strippers, bellydancing and all our favourite songs inbetween. The only two grievances I had was the music was a bit too loud to carry conversation between entertainment, and they don't serve coffee at night! Being sober and pregnant, all I wanted was a cuppa - luckily there is a gloria jeans next door where I could go and sit down and take a moment to myself. Didn't detract from the night at all and have now decided to have my 30th there!

I had my 21st Birthday dinner at The Mediterranean earlier last month and what can I say? This place is absolutely fantastic!

The food was delicious (4 course set menu), the ambience was great and the service was absolutely exceptional! The wait staff there are so patient and helpful. The manager was also very flexible and generous in helping me organise the event. No extra charges for cakage.

Highly recommended restaurant.

Good sized portions but fairly average, uncreative food. We got one cold platter and one hot platter and the dips were not very exciting on the cold on and on the hot one there were 1 or 2 nice meats and then a few others that weren't anything special. We had a nice white wine with it which matched well. Waitress was attentive but there wasn't much of at atmosphere in the restaurant- it was a Wednesday night and only about 5 tables were occupied in what is a very large space. The decor was modern and the place felt clean. The bill was reasonable. All in all, something was missing from this dining experience- it left me very on the fence about if I will return.

The Mediterranean has it all, great food, great entertainment, great girls and heaps of fun. I went with a few friends for a bucks party and it was an awesome night out. The drag queen was great and took the mickey out of all the boys and girls followed by brazilian samba dancing and a final strip tease where the boys (including me) had to strip down for the girls and I'm not a stripper!

The best part is that they really get everyone involved in the activities so the focus isn't just on the hens or bucks but the whole table that came along as well. This is the first revue I've written for a restaurant as i never write them but this place was so good i have to let everyone know how great it is! I recommend it to anyone wanting to have a night out all in one place.

The Med is a fantastic restaurant for a party! Not only are the staff amazing, but the food is delicious and the entertainment had us in stitches. Highly recommended!

Just Have to say that this venue is Sensational. If you are after a Fun and Fabulous time, then this is the place to go. Not only was the atmosphere, entertainment and food amazing but so too were the staff. They make you feel warm and welcome from the moment you walk through the door. Don't worry if you think some of your party won't join in the entertainment, because the staff have a way of making it fun and assist in getting the party started without making people feel awkward.

The drag queen is also one of the best parts of the evening. You will need botox by the end of the evening from all the laughter lines caused during the entertainment. Highly, highly recommend this venue and to top it off, the owner Stephanie is fantastic at making all your arrangements run as smooth as a ship sailing on a still night. BTW, did I mention how affordable this venue is! You will not regret for a moment this choice of venue, book Now and Enjoy, Enjoy, Enjoy!

Decided to try this place out on a Friday lunchtime on the recommendation of a friend.

We walked up the stairs from busy Oxford Street expecting another tired looking interior when, wow, the fitout and design of this rather large space was breath taking, think modern greek inspired, with statues, Atlas holding up a neon lit globe, a neon lit bar or two and a surprising ambience as the large space had been expertly designed to create more intimate areas with clever partitions.

I went for the grilled Octopus with a greek salad, my two guests had the lamb and the chicken schnitzel. The food was plentiful, the lamb was mouthwatering and fell off the bone, the chicken schnitzel was moist and came with a lovely aioli and the Greek salad was served with a beautiful creamy feta.

The highlight, however, was the grilled octopus, I have been to Greek restaurants throughout Sydney, Melbourne and the length and breadth of Greece and I have now found a new star (tender, perfectly cooked and beautifully marinated).

The wonderful host Shannon, also explained that the larger room adjacent to the restaurant area is used for party time on a Saturday night with entertainment like belly dancers, and a DJ spinning all the latest tracks (including modern Greek).

I will definitely be back with friends, this place has been put together with lots of love and every detail has been carefully thought through.

The food was delicious specially the lamb, loved the quality of food and the taste is really good. Service was excellent and friendly. I would love to go and recommend everyone to try it. Something different something good.

The Mediterranean made our hen's night perfect. Dinner, dance, drag queen...everything we wanted was in one spot!

Food was nice (very generous). Shows were fantastic. Belly dance was a good start. And the highlight was of course the drag queen. She was soooooo funny! We all laughed and laughed whole night. We had dance with her, it was so much fun! And still more, all staffs there were so friendly. Unbelievably good service.

It was the best night we had ever. I couldn't stop laughing even the day after. We will definitely come back!
