I went to Meadows last week and was pleasantly surprised at the service and value from our evening. The scotch fillet steak was cooked to perfection and my husband's comment on his laksa was "exceptional and authentic". I would be happy to recommend this venue to all my friends.

The previous two reviews are not far off the mark. I ordered a dozen oysters kilpatrick and apart from being drowned in worcestershire sauce, 4 had no oyster and of those that did were miniscule, well over cooked.

After complaining staff dealt with it adequately. I opted for my money back. The mains of steak and ribs and sirloin was Ok but I have had pub food (at pub prices) that was far superior. Overall well over priced for the quality of the food. Go elsewhere.

Whilst the place looks nice from far thats where it stops. The food simply tastes bad. Steaks have no flavour, entrees are overpriced and some dishes try too hard. It's a dodgy bistro in drag. I asked about a cake in a window and the cashier girl said 'I wouldn't get that as its been there for a while...' Thanks for the honesty but at least throw it out. Avoid.

It was renovated not long ago, and the atmosphere is usually very nice. The food is not very spectacular and the service shamefully slow. My main will come out before my entrees and I believe that says alot about the organisation of the place. The staff there were not spectacular either as they seem to avoid us as much as possible. Value for money was not too bad bit on the dear-er side of things.
