Great local food. I travel from Davidson to get my fix of Chinese here. The trip is worth it. I have not had a bad dish ever.

Can't go past the Mayview for excellent OzChinese food. Great staff, and as you look into the kitchen from the front counter you can see that the cooks have a great time in there. In 20 years have never eaten in the restaurant, so if their takeaway is so good then I'm sure the table service is better. Hhighly recommended.

Have been buying chinese food from here for over a decade and never had a bad experience with food, staff or otherwise. Staff and owners always efficient and accommodating. It is a small restaurant when eating in but if you don't mind the cosy atmosphere then the ambience is self-creating, and therefore, great!

The food is always excellent and the staff very friendly. The service is also excellent. This is the best Chinese restaurant I have ever eaten at.

Every dish they served is always tasty. Service is very good. Value is good and the food is the best. (must try honey chicken).

We normally get delivery from Mayview. The staff are accommodating (will cook dishes with no MSG), delivery is fast and most the dishes are fantastic.

Excellent food, I myself am extremely picky about meat and Mayview were fantastic! Cantonese Chicken is a breath taking chef's suggestion! Great management, very easy to talk with.

Pretty much the basic chinese restaurant one would expect. Nothing special... a little disappointed in a few dishes previously ordered but generally satisfied.

Edit 2012: I gave Mayfiew another chance a few weeks ago. The food is back to how it was a few years ago. Very tasty, the fried rice has the flavour back. I don't know what happened during the time that their food went downhill, but it was great again. I would recommend it and will dine here again. Let's hope the food stays up to par.

Not bad. I used to go to Mayview a lot but the food which used to be quite nice started to taste very bland. I don't know if they got a new chef or management, and I gave Mayview a few chances but the original quality never returned.

To be fair this was about a year ago so maybe things have changed? I have found a better place now anyway.

Best Chinese I have found since living in Sydney... okay, it's small and a bit cold and the tables are small but the food is what matters. The service was lovely, the food very tasty and above all it is so inexpensive for a local night out!
