Had 3 great pizzas out the back in the sun and it was lovely! Pizza had just right amount of toppings and service was friendly and inviting :) Will be going back for sure.

The restaurant is brightly decorated with photos of places in Italy as well as posters and shutters which gives the place a welcoming feel. We ordered the garlic bread, smoked salmon penne and ricotta cannelloni. The garlic bread was tasty but had quite a lot of butter and honestly, was quite similar to the frozen ones you buy from the supermarket. The penne was nice, well cooked but a bit strong in flavour while the cannelloni was simply cooked, with the rich tomato sauce a standout in itself.

The waitresses were friendly and accommodating but the night was tarnished by who we thought was the senior staff, ordered the waitresses around quite rudely in front of customers which was not a good look.

My family absolutely loved the pizzas that they dived into. You have to try the tandoori! The staff were fabulous and even took time to entertain the kids! We will certainly be coming back.

Crust is nice, but Pizza is ok, better than your Dominos but can certainly do better. Entertainment book will also give you 25% off.

Seriously its hard to find a nice local Italian pizza/pasta place that offers local fun friendly service, backed up with great food. A great little place for dinner with who ever you want to drop in with. I'll be back very soon.

Last Wednesday night shared the most sizzling garlic prawns and chilli calamari a great way to start the evening of one of the coldest evenings in Sydney. A group of school mums caught up for a usual school mothers night out which turned out to be a wonderful experience. We were most impressed with the service and the authentic italian pizza and pasta and they were byo. I would highly recommend Mario Bros to anyone.

Isn't it a surprise when you find a genuinely good place to eat. The owner who does the food preparation and cooking is one of those people you would like to know better if the time was available and his passion for what he does is reflected in the food that we experienced. We have visited here several times since and we are very happy to keep coming back.

Pretty basic pasta, pizza is pretty good, service is friendly and lovely atmosphere. Overall nice family dinner place, but not fine dining.

I had a pizza from here tonight and it was the worst pizza I have ever had in my entire life.
The crust was very crispy like a sao biscuit, the pepperoni was burnt to a cinder the rest of it was just disgusting. Never eat here again!

The friendly owner, a Freddie Mercury look alike, made us feel welcome. He’s a happy, outgoing, gent, who obviously loves what he does and it shows.

Although it was a Thursday night we had taken the precaution of booking ahead, which was just as well as this is a small restaurant with seating for no more than about 40 people (not counting the long table out the back which is probably reserved for parties) and at 6.30 pm it looked like being a full house with all other tables either occupied or with a “reserved” sign on them.

The décor is what one would call modern Italian with clean whitewashed walls plenty of coloured ribbons in green, white and red colours and assorted pics of Italy. It has a homely and relaxed feel to it. Service was fast, efficient and polite: They don’t miss a beat here. The only downside is that being small and with the tables packed closely together, it can get noisy.

The food was fresh and tasty and served in just the right portions. We started off with a serve of garlic bread and a “Verde” salad. The garlic bread was warm, crunchy and buttery and the salad had a tangy dressing. For mains we had a spag bol, cannelloni and a medium-sized “Phuket” pizza which has chicken, feta, mushrooms, cashews and yoghurt, topped off with bbq sauce. It all went down well. My spag bol had a flavoursome meat sauce.

For dessert we opted to share a tiramisu, which was small but delicious. All up we paid $82 for three, and that included a bottle of sparkling mineral water and a coffee. A tad expensive I thought, but probably worth it if you can afford it.

The single toilet is clean and well provisioned and you’ll be nicely surprised at all the interesting pics on the walls. Now that’s something original that I haven’t seen before in a Sydney restaurant. A gaily decorated toilet!

You’ll find Marios near the corner of Falcon Street on the busy Pac Highway. Being a week night, parking restrictions in nearby Alexander Street end at 6.30 pm, and we were able to get a spot there. You could also try the Council Car Park just above Woolworths.
