Food here is great. Had the swordfish with prawns and the mrs had a steak, both were amazing. If I could afford it, I would come more often. View was also nice.
We enjoyed an early evening family meal at Manly Grill. Although a cold night the gas heaters made the restaurant warm & inviting. Our waitress was so helpful and efficient, the kids kept busy with the supplied colouring pencils & their meals arrived in record time. Our steaks were cooked to perfection and on our waitresses suggestion we shared a chocolate brownie to finish. YUM! Definitely will visit again, any where that caters well for the children gets our vote!
If you want a good steak cooked rare (not medium rare, not raw, RARE) this is the place to get it. The views are good and the service is great. A little on the pricey side, but you come away with a full belly and a feeling of contentment.
A great restaurant serving fantastic food. We can highly recommend the steaks and the ribs. The chocolate brownie was very tasty. There is also a great wine list.
Well worth the visit, would go back again and again. Staff are generally very friendly and portion sizes are very good- you won't go away hungry!
Located directly accross from Manly beach, the views are terrific. This venue caters more to tourists rather than locals. The prices are high, steaks from $34.
I had the smoked chicken ceasar salad for $17 which was a little disappointing as it contained processed smoked chicken roll. We had to chase up part of our order as the side of fries went missing, but in general the waiter was friendly and attentive. I would probably try somewhere different next time I'm in Manly.
Tasty large meals but on the pricey side. The restaurant is very pleasant with soft lighting and quite private. Not noisy but nor did we need to whisper. The service, while relatively quick was very typical Manly backpacker style i.e. no knowledge and no particular interest in acquiring knowledge. Worth trying though definitely. The chocolate brownies were amazing and there was a very good selection of wines!
Wow! What can I say this is the best steak I have ever eaten. My partner had the ribs, he thought they were great, melted in your mouth and the flavours were awesome.
The decor is very comforting and the Chef obviously knows his flavours. Well done guys.
Very nice design, lots of wood and nice comfortable seats. Was impressed by the portion sizes of the entrees and mains. The chicken wings with blue cheese sauce were delicious and the rump was cooked perfect medium rare, peri peri sauce had a good kick to it but there were way to many roasted kipfels on the plate.
The service was as you expect in most places, backpacker style but then again only dining rooms seem to have good staff these days. I went with a large group and every one was impressed and full. Nice tap beers and decent wine list. Would recommend.
