Was back to Sydney after a really long time so decided to visit Mace (Qumin). I was pleasantly surprised by the change. I wasn't too sure of the food at the start as Qumin had set a really high standard. But I was blown away by the food and service. The standard of Qumin has been maintained with Mace as well. It was a great value for money. It is actually shocking to see this above review which contradicts my experience at Mace. The banquet was amazing and it was worth every cent I paid. I would love to go back to Mace the next time I'm in Sydney.

A very disappointing experience. We had previously been to this restaurant when it was called Qmin and it appears to have deteriorated markedly since then.
Service was hit and miss - a very friendly waitress but that's about it. Ambience sorely lacking - the restaurant had our party of 6 and 2 other couples in it the whole evening... on a Saturday night.

The food was pretty bad and very expensive for the quality. We were advised by our waitress to order the banquet so we chose the $35 per person banquet options and this was a huge mistake - food very bland and boring and very poor value for money. We won't be back. There are several much better Indian restaurants in Sydney.

Went there with an online deal voucher which got myself and my partner the banquet. Nice food with good variety and decently fast service. Only complaint would be the restaurant is quite cold in winter - it's not a cozy place if that's what you're looking for, but it's well priced (even without a voucher), well presented and tastes pretty good too!

A nice new concept-Indian restaurant. Interesting approach. The food is good, not exactly authentic, but that's the point. It's an exciting approach towards Indian food and it'll be interesting to see how it evolves over time. We'll be back to check it out down the line for new additions and changes.

I was always a fan of Qmin but Anil has done an exceptional job with the new concept and menu. If you're not starving each person could order 2 tapas dishes each with enough to share. Looking forward to next time!

After reading the great reviews we were sorely disappointed! The food unfortunately was very bland. Small dishes but big on price! Thank goodness we had our Entertainment Book discount card. Won't be going back.

I highly recommend Mace. We had the single best indian diner ever - including high-end restaurants in London, New York, LA and Boston. The small plate style is very nice and the food exquisite. You will not be disappointed.

For those who haven't been to Mace restaurant st Leonard (formerly Qmin) its really gotten quite excellent, this restaurant has been consistently good for some years, and recently has gotten even better. The ambience is beautiful and the prices are very affordable especially given the quality. Its the first Indian restaurant serving Indian food "Tapas style" in Sydney.

The food is exceptionally brilliant, especially the thali, served on the silver plater, just stunning and the service is most professional.! A must try restaurant!

Was back at Qmin to find out that now they are called Mace. Have had good experiences at Qmin. But Mace has really bowled me away! the best new Indian concept I have seen. The food is so authentic and the menu and presentation so creative. The new decor looks fantastic. The service is much better and the value is amazing. The new prices are so much more affordable. Highly recommended and am going back soon.
