Went for lunch on Saturday. Ordered chorizo, whitebait and hummus. Food was pretty ordinary. Wine was overpriced and very small servings. Was going to pay with RHTC voucher but they wouldn't accept it. Serivce was slow. Would not go back.

Dined at lusso last saturday night with friends. Found the food to be good and service was always on hand, no delays on meals etc. Place was full but every thing went smoothly. Would go back again.

Terrible. The food is a joke. Pasta had no flavour, the garden salad was stale, everything was way overpriced. I didn't want to complain but my partner could take it and spoke to the waitress at which point the senior staff came out and was rude and not helpful at all. This is the second time I've gone here and on both occasions I've had bad expereiences. Sorry but I'm not going back and am advising others to stay away.

Living close to Rouse Hill, we go to Lusso's quite regularly. Unfortunately, the food and service is a bit hit and miss. Sometimes, the food is amazing, and certain dishes are amazing (the octopus for example), some, however, are not (the gnocchi is very chewy with too much sauce).

Unfortunately, it is the service that lets down this otherwise wonderful restaurant. When there for a family members birthday, the cake we had organised was brought out with sparklers on it. The cake was placed too close to the edge of the table and the sparkles burnt her legs! The waitress witnessed this and just walked away, with no offer of help.

When it was mentioned to the supervisor, we were brushed off. This is the same supervisor that has been working there for a long time, and I have never really been impressed with her service. I don't think the owner was there that night, he is usually very helpful whenever we have complaints.

Other than that, the women that work there often seem quite uninterested and you can tell they would much rather be somewhere else. The men are often a bit more attentive, but most of the time you do need to call for their attention to get the bill, and it always takes a long time to get there, which is often a problem as most people go to see a movie after dinner.

As I said, excellent food, but the service could definitely be improved.

We went to Lussos a few weeks ago and really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. We took a couple of friends last night and all of our food was really good. I had the quail which had this beautiful sauce. The waitress was lovely and friendly and the host was very hospitable. I recommend this place for a casual night of good food and friendly, welcoming service.

Was quite good, I have been there a few times now, the coffee tasted great and I am a hard marker, but was not hot enough. A little advice the brûlée is a tart not what you'd normally expect.

The only thing going for this place is the layout and location of the restaurant. The service was terrible even though they had more than enough floor staff to cope with the capacity of the restaurant, but they were rude, unfriendly, too focussed on their social lives and chatting with each other.

We have a 3 year old who had to wait over an hour for her dinner, by the time it arrived she was over wanting to eat, plus the nuggets and chips looked and tasted like they were recycled and fried umpteen times.

Food was terrible, close to not being able to be eaten at all. $$ expensive for poor food, poor service. Never going there again.

Useless. Waitress started by dropping a tray of glasses on our table and several smashing. Then it went downhill with no service, had to call waitresses several times to get any service. Plenty of other restaurants around, don't waste your time or money here.

We took our friend out for her birthday this evening. Service from staff was lousy. We asked for a glass of water 3 times! The Waitress wasn't helpful. I ordered a Veal Parmigiana and instead I got Chicken Parmigiana. My friend ordered a pizza and asked to swap capsicum for mushrooms, even though we were swapping an ingredient Not adding extra toppings they charged us $1 for it!

The waitress kept on clearing our plates while we were still eating. One of our soft drinks was flat. Every time we chose a dessert from the menu the waitress would say they didn't have it. After several unsuccessful attempts, my friend ordered a Sticky Date Pudding and it was missing the best part...the caramel sauce.

In place for the key ingredient, was a lame thick, gluggy Cottees icing on top! My mango gelato tasted like it had been sitting in the tub for too long and had soaked up all the benzine! Sorry guys, but this was Average...very average!

I have constantly dined at Lusso's since 2008, the food served in this venue is great and it will keep you coming back for more. I highly recommend the Chicken Strips, Chicken Penne, Chicken Parmigiana, BBQ Chicken Pizza and the Oysters Kilpatrick. The ingredients for the meals I have ordered are generally fresh. Service at the restaurant is excellent as my party and I are on good terms with the owner and also his son, who is now part of the staff. In my opinion the value isn't too bad, the approximate price for the meals I listed above are around $18-$21. I am dearly missing this place as I am writing this review and I will definitely be back very soon.
