I have been eating here for years now after a friend introduced me this place and I always go back for more. $7 fish and chips for lunch can't be beaten. The calamari is delicious. The staff are friendly and welcoming. I have never had a bad meal here. For the people who say it's bad service, it's a cafe in Taylor sq not a 5 star restaurant. Try it out for yourself. I recommend the lunch specials. Great value for money.

Went here ages ago and had the salmon, best cooked salmon I've had. The marinade (I think it was coconut based) was delicious.

We came here for the $7.99 fish and chip special. For that price no way am I going to complain, however, there is no atmosphere, no service, was not tempted to try anything else.

Great fish and the best calamari I have had in a long time! From the fish and chips to the exotic, I haven't been disappointed in any of my visits.

I have been here a few times and on every occasion I have enjoyed my meal. Lure is sort of an up-market fish and chip shop. There are lots of different fish to choose from which are marinated in different marinades. It is also BYO which is great. The chips are fantastic.
Even though the food is great it is EXTREMELY expensive for what you get. Prices have definitely gone up. You used to be able to get a meal for 2 for about $40-$50, this time I paid close to $70. I can justify spending this amount of money in restaurant not at a cafe as such.
Don't know if I would go back again it is just too expansive for what you get. There are plenty of other places around Oxford Street were you can get a meal that is alot cheaper and just as good. I just can't justify spending $70 on fish and chips.

Excellent fish in a variety of interesting and appetising marinades, combined with an excellent ambience make this a must. A fabulous place to take a date, or just to impress a friend!

One of the very best restaurants around. The quality of food is amazing yet simple. You choose your fish, the chef cooked it, perfection! The service is good and everything delivered with a smile. Highly recommended.

This place is really cool...pick a table, choose a piece of fish and wait for them to cook it to perfection for you! The fish is well marinated and tastes amazing!

Great ambience with the lime green walls and dimmed lights, the food is great with the bananaleaf giving out its aromas, and the staff a friendly and very attentive. Great place to BYO and just have a nice night out with family and or friends.
