A cosy little Italian restaurant serving Roman style thin crust pizzas with over twenty different varieties to choose from. We pride ourselves on cooking good, honest homestyle Italian dishes that offer exceptional value.
We can service private functions or parties as well. Call us to discuss further.

My Girl and I used a coupon in 2011 here.
Had been here once before, many many moons ago for a company function (breakfast). I'm sure at the time, it was chosen for its intimate feel. A bit out of the main CBD (north) and not overly busy surroundings.
The pizza choices on the set menu options were pretty good, so can't complain.

Came here with a scoupon, although the welcoming and staff were very friendly, I was very utterly disappointed by the food, considering the reviews I read beforehand. Secondly the food was either overdone or over cooked, nothing was really spot on.
Personal experience wise, I had the Lasagna, and it was literally the worst lasagna I've ever had, over salted, burnt, and too soggy, you couldn't cut it without the whole pasta being pushed down With your knife.
Also had the Lamb and Rosemary Pizza, lamb was average and the fetta was stingy, didn't crumble, nor have the right taste, other pizza: The Australiana tasted no better than a fresher version of the Bacon and egg McMuffin. They were also errors on the menu, as drinks we ordered were more expensive compared to the prices displayed on the menu, got annoyed slightly.
The ambience in my opinion was bad, location was nice and quiet, except the room itself was too dark, could barely see my food, didn't notice my food was burnt until it was in my mouth. All in all, would have preferred a medium cheeseburger meal than this any day.

I had been here 18 months before, but found out it was now under new management. So armed with a coupon, I took my mum and dad for dinner to try it out. Quite honestly, our experience could not be faulted.
The staff were accommodating and attentive, the owner very friendly and conversational without being overbearing, and the wait time for food was short.
The ambience is nice because it is unpretentious and more 'local' in its feeling than many city establishments.
The food itself was fantastic. We shared the lucetta platter to start, which came with samples of caprese salad, bruschetta, antipasto, prawns and other nibbles. The produce was very fresh. Dad ordered the chorizo and prawn fettuccine, a Lucetta specialty. It is deservingly so. Mum ordered the penne pasta, it was gratuitously covered in pesto and pine nuts but was not too oily and rich like many others I have tried.
The pizzas are great, nice thin crusts, crispy edges, and the right amount of toppings. Regarding desserts, Mum said the affogato was great, Dad ordered a generous amount of gelato, and we shared the pannacotta with srawberries, which was devoured.
Without a voucher, the value is still superb. Pizzas and mains are around the $20 mark, Desserts were less than $10 each. Considering the quality of the food, that is very cheap.
We will definitely be back. Thanks to Lucetta for such a lovely nights!

Just on the edge of the Rocks. Lots of people were ordering take away even though the place inside was nicely decorated so you know the pizzas are good. Great pizzas and great antipasto platter. That's all I tried cos of a voucher and they were wonderful.
Their pannacotta dessert was okay. Their pizzas were crisp and a good balance of flavours. Pumpkin rocket one is definitely my favourite, can't even remember what other one I ordered because the pumpkin was so good. And looking at menu prices, good value for everything else. Lovely people serving you, even though they were very busy, they did their best to stay calm and make sure customers were happy.

We had heard some great reviews regarding the pizza's at Lucetta. We were not disappointment. For me it's all about the base and the base was excellent. Thin and crispy. It was perfect. I can't wait to go back. I actually wanted to order another one there and then but my wife put her foot down! By all accounts the pasta dish was also great. Very simple but effective. Just like a true Italian pasta.
The calamari (to start) was tasty and tender but the Caprese Salad was a little lazy in comparison. The Tiramisu was lovely once you got past the thick layer of cream. The value was exceptional and service friendly and fun. It's not a flashy restaurant and has a simple design but its relaxed and welcoming. Can't wait to go back.

We went there with Scoopon voucher and was rewarded with a great experience. The food was great and not too expensive and the service was impeccable. Pizzas were fantastic. The base was thin crust and the size was good enough for two people. My 2.5 year old enjoyed the food as much as we did!

Lucetta Pizzeria is an escape from the noisy city. The Rocks end of Kent Street is growing on me as a dining quarter. It also works out as convenient to the Walsh Bay theatre precinct.
We went on an ouffer deal which included an attractively presented antipasto platter that featured a number of cured meats, a wood fired pizza each and a glass of Basedows chardonnay. For a house set menu wine this was a beauty. Lovely fruity characters without over-oaking which often turns me off that grape variety. I will look out for Basedows again.
Pizzas were tasteful italian style without brash or down market clashes of ingredients. Not overloaded with toppings so you could taste all of the distinct and pleasant flavours. Crusts were thin, dry and crisp, as you usually get from a wood fired oven. The base reminded me of baked lebanese bread as it pocketed between two layers in places.
Those after an oily meatlovers pizza or some other kind of grievous assault to their senses are better off looking somewhere else.
All in all an excellent meal which was just the right quantity for dinner. We noticed that prices, even without a voucher, were reasonable, especially for the city so this place is a bit of a haven. With the voucher we had I can't give it less than a 9 rating on value. We received terrific service. As a dinner for two surprise with my wife it was lovely.
Lovely owners as the other reviewers have said. They have a good grasp on how to look after diners so they deserve to do well.

Thanks for taking the time to write a review. Unfortunately the Basedows we use is a restaurant only wine so you will need to come back to get some more!! Glad you loved the pizzas and most of all the entire experience. Hopefully see you again soon.

Friends recommended this restaurant to us and I have to say couldn't be more impressed! We have now been here 3-4 times and will definately become regulars at this little gem. The food is fantastic, I particularly like the calamari (I don't eat a lot of seafood and am very fussy) this calamari is light and tender exactly as I like it. The serving sizes are massive here and we have not found better pizzas anywhere in Sydney. The owners treat us like old friends and couldn't be more helpful - try this one out for fantastic value for money food you won't be disappointed.

We have been here 3-4 times now and enjoy the food and the friendly owners. Last week we went with the 'Ouffer' voucher and it was very good value for money. We thoroughly enjoyed the meal. We only booked as we had been previously and liked the food. Very fresh produce.
