Perfect meals, perfect service and beer. Short lines = tasty beer. Just a pity they took the old radios away from the main bar.

If you live in the area and feeling a tad lazy at dinner time, this is the place for you. Do not expect ambience or service beyond the food being passed out of the kitchen to you (or if dining in, popped on the table before you). Watch out on warm nights as the dining area (not pub/bar area) gets bloody hot and unpleasant. Every time we have had to open the windows, as the staff seem not to care at all.

Good old fashioned pub, restaurant out back but can also order pub food in bar which is what I did, bangers and mash, good, and cheap.

Ah now this is a real pub. We went for a beer in here after seeing good reviews of the place and we were not disappointed. Its not for everyone as it is an old and small neighbourhood pub which has not seen a lick of paint or change of decor for 50 years but this is what made it so special.

It was like going back in time and I thought it was the best pub I have visited in Sydney. Its a down to earth non pretentious drinkers pub. The locals were very friendly and came over and chatted to my wife and I. There was a nice mix of old boys having a pint and a punt and younger folk just coming in for a chat and a drink. The beer was cheap and the barman friendly. If you want to go for a drink with no yuppies and knobheads this is the place to go. Outstanding

We eat at this restaurant all the time for its great value, large meals, great service and best of all it is very cosy and the chef is always willing to please the customers. My wife rang to make a group booking on night and asked "Violante" the chef if she did a particular dish, it was not on the menu however. That night the meal we asked for was served cooked to perfection, and Violante specially went out of her way to source the ingredients and cook the meal for us. Very impressive. Give the restaurant a chance at least once as you will certainly not be disappointed
