    Went there on Friday night without booking during Vivid Sydney. The Rocks area was packed. We were lucky to get a table there.

    Ambience: Very nice and warm with a classic look. The tables were not packed into the room to create more seatings. One of the better dining rooms in Sydney regardless how much money you pay.

    Food: We had the specials of the day which were fish and rib eye. Nicely cooked and the servings were generous.

    Beverage: Good wine list with some half bottles.

    Service: Attentive, quick and friendly.

    Value: For around $100 per person, that is good value.

    I dined here yesterday evening for the first time. The special of the day was ribeye, which was truly superb, as tender as I have had anywhere. An excellent wine and spirits menu as well.

    My husband and I had a really lovely evening here. The wine list is surprisingly good and we shared a really nice bottle of red after some help from the waitress. We didn't realise that the hotel had this brasserie until we stayed there so it was a pleasant surprise!
