The place definitely needs a style makeover but this is a hidden gem. Food pretty damn good - not east ocean but not bad! Excellent squid - I am sure we only skimmed the surface. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Happy to recommend for local Yum Cha.

Used to be better than it is now. Still provides good quality food of generous proportions but is looking and feeling jaded. Hornsby has moved ahead and this place needs a serious revamp to keep up. The current manager is trying hard keep it friendly and upbeat but needs to look around for fresh ideas.

It was my first yumcha at this restaurant and it was surprisingly good, in both food and service. I must said the food presentation was not great, but the taste was excellent.

Chinese was pretty good compared to other restaurants. Although we pretty much needed an interpreter for our waitress, couldn't understand a word she said.

This restaurant has been in my local area for years but it was only until yesterday that I discovered the pleasure of dining there. So much so, I have dined at this restaurant now for two days in a row, both occasions for lunch and I am certainly looking forward to trying the dinner menu soon.

Yesterday, I was one of 5 people ordering from the a-la-carte menu and I can report that all the dishes, both vegetarian and non-veg, were delicious. Today, it was for yum cha (non vegetarian) and again it was delicious (and steaming hot).
Service on both occasions was excellent with Ivan being a most friendly, ready-to-please host with an equally friendly waitering staff so I will definitely be returning.

We celebrated our elderly Mother's birthday and was disappointed at their professionalism and integrity. They shortchanged our pre-ordered banquet menu without prior notice and blamed us for changing the menu at last minute. We were dumbfounded as the menu was prepared by the kitchen staff/restaurant senior staff, who prepared the menu for us! Sadly we had paid in advance, lost 2 "paid" dishes.

We were extremely outraged by the shift of Blame to customers. Yes we lost $$$ and as for Loong Cheong, you have lost us forever. Your dishonesty is yet to be desired. So please check your menu and the bill.

This is a kind of down to earth chinese where you have good food but do not care about the decor. Seatings are spacious. Yum Cha are great, freshly cooked all the time.

I love this place, this is my local chinese and when we have dinner here it is like being at home, staff friendly and food is always fresh and tasty.

This is a restaurant that my husband and I have been going to for many years. A few years back there was new management and I think a new cook and the food dropped in our opinion, however, it did pick up and the boss man is very friendly and knows us by name and we have always enjoyed our meals, sometimes more than others. We usually go there before we go to the theatre and they always serve us in plenty of time for us to travel to the theatre in Belrose.
