This was the very first time my friends and I had tried Nepalese food, and let me tell you it was a fantastic experience. Who has wild boar on their menu? or Buffalo Dumplings? I will definitely return. Try the carrot dessert, it was a wonderful surprise.

Amazing! Had been wanting to try Nepalese food for a while and saw the good reviews here so gave it a shot. The chicken momos were delicious, with the dipping sauce just the right amount of spicy. The goat curry was an absolute stand-out, easily one of the tastiest curries (goat or not) that I've had in a long time. Definitely recommend, will be returning!

Lovely small restaurant not far from the cafe chaos up the road. Girlfriend and I had Buffalo dumplings, Organic Goat mild curry, rice and salad. Delicious, and cosy place, friendly staff. Exceptional choices on menu, definitely recommend this.

I've been to Little Nepal many times, I must say I'm quite a regular but never got time to post something good about it until I went out for dinner with my few frens as I had recommended them to try Nepalese food during Easters. They absolutely loved it, specially Aloo Chop, Fried pork (Badel tareko), jhinge macha from the entrees. Fish curry and chicken biryani was delicious and mouthwatering.

Above all, staffs are great and friendly. They make very good coffees too! We couldn't have desserts as we were too full but my friend definitely wants to come back and try some other meals and desserts.

Found this place by accident (looking for NRMA). What a find! The food tasted great and there was an "Aussie" breakfast menu that suited my daughter while we indulged in chicken momo (like a steamed dumpling) with a great tandoori style dipping sauce. Yum! we also had another dish (can't remember the name) with toasted chick peas and flattened rice. Also yum!

I was very pleasantly surprised about this place. Generally, I don't rate the good on Burwood Rd very highly and even though this is very casual and looks more like a take away joint, the food is cooked as you order it, so you can amend things and it tastes so good and is very reasonably priced. If you want to avoid bad food in Burwood and you don't mind the decor of a place, then this is a must.

Little Nepal is one of the more interesting places to eat in Burwood. I remember that location to be a usual cafe serving usual cafe fare for the last 3 years I've been living in Burwood. Nothing out of the ordinary. One day as I was just walking past it, I realised something weird. The tables, the Segafredo Zanetti umbrellas and signage all seems to be still there but there was an additional sign which said "Little Nepal" with a Nepalese menu stuck on the glass outside.

It has apparently gone through a change in ownership/management and they had decided to open a Nepalese restaurant while still maintaining the cafe. If walk in, it looks very much like a normal cafe with a counter next to the entrance with a large espresso machine, a display cabinet with sandwiches, muffins and croissant except if you look around, the wall is dotted with multitude of tradition Nepalese posters, idols, craft items. Even the spot light has been enclosed in a Nepalese-themed paper light fixture.

Having grabbed a table I was given a menu which was different from the one hanging outside. It offered mediocre cafe food such as Quiches, pumpkin soup, filos, pastas, lasagnes that you find in any second you go into. I asked about the menu outside and the polite waitress grabbed a different (much bigger, with hard cover) menu from behind the counter and called it the dinner menu, but they were happy to make me some items from it (I went during lunchtime).

During the evenings, the place transforms into a full-fledged Nepalese restaurant with wine traditional Nepalese table-cloth, and Nepalese music playing. The two menus cater to two different markets: one, usual patrons of the cafe who come in to have a coffee and grab a quick sandwich and another Nepalese people living in Burwood or any person interested in Nepalese food. It's quite a fascinating scenario.

I haven't tried their cafe menu, but the Nepali menu is fabulous although some items could seem a bit too expensive. The highlight for me the quintessential Nepalese chicken dumplings–Momos with traditional peanut sauce. It's one of the best I have had outside Nepal (would compare pretty well against momos in Nepal except that the best momos in Nepal use buffalo meat (or buff colloquially) which is pretty much close to impossible to get in Sydney). And oh, the staff are fantastic. Very friendly and always smiling.

Was looking for a restaurant for dinner and was planning to have Chinese food. Walked past this recently opened restaurant and thought it was worth a try. I was very impressed. The owner and staff were all very friendly and attentive. The staff engaged in conversation to make sure we were happy with the food. The food was very tasty and interesting. I liked the entree called 'meat lovers' the best. It was different. Will definitely go back again.

Recommendation: Needs a/c or fans in the restaurant as it was a little stuffy especially in summer.
