How can it be more important for the staff to chat to each other than to at least enquire if you would like a drink to start. At $7.00 per beer there must be a good profit there. A further 5 min. to then serve the drinks, hopeless.
Average but expensive food.

Untrained staff, or a lack of interest from the senior staff has ruined what was a very good restaurant. It's a never again for me.

My experience was awful. On a date, we had booked for 8pm, however, our table was not available. Waiter sat us down on an already dirty table then cleared it infront of us.

Wine glasses were put on our table wet and warm from the wash. Menus came 10 min later. Bread was put on our table with no side plates. Waiter ran away before we had a chance to ask for some. Main meal arrived before cutlery.
Food was salty. (chicken with prawns)

Empty water bottle was not replaced once empty. I felt I had to ask for everything to eat. Noise was all around us. Girls hair from behind me was touching my back as our tables were so close. Oh and to top my fantastic date off, I fell ill as soon as I got home and lasted for the entire next day after.
As you may gather, I will never go back.

I don't know if they have changed hands but I was there for a dinner party in 2003 and had the pizza and was very impressed. But I took my husband there in 2010 and had a chicken dish with peppercorn cream sauce. Yuk it was like a hunk of chicken slopped in a sea of cream. I could barely eat it. How disappointing.

My group of 7 for my 19th birthday dinner, arrived about 15 minutes before a 'late Christmas party' group of about 50. Was seated upstairs with no soundproofing and hard surfaces. Could not hear a thing once the Christmas party arrived.

Complained several times to the staff, who were of absolutely no assistance, and made no attempt to reduce the noise from the other party. Ended up basically inhaling our food (which arrived late and cold) in order to just get out.

Complained to the manager who was extremely arrogant and did not care, and to quote him: "Why should I go up there and ask them to be quiet when they're here for a good time?" Needless to say, that put a horrible end to what was supposed to be a great day.

Absolutely disgusted. Save yourselves the trouble and do not eat here.

I used to love this place it was always a little pricey but we could tolerate it considering the food Was so good, now it's a waste of money, unless you want an oily, tasteless over- priced meal don't bother! Give me a call when u get ur old cooks back.

Was a long time patron and it made the best meat dishes. Staff now are young / rude, arrogant and forgetful. If your not out by a certain time well what about the waiting time to be served. Have acquired tastes for other foods in the area. The owner unfortunately is a nice guy with crap staff and service.

I was a guest at a function today. Two hours into the suare we received multiple flagons of water (calculated to stave off the hunger pains) a piece of garlic bread and what would have amounted to a packet of penne dampened with sauce between twelve people at our table. The salad we ordered failed to eventuate. I could only describe the pizzas that arrived as being the inspiration for the tale of The Emperor's New Clothes. To say they were sparse would be a compliment. We were reassured that the pizzas were 'Italian style'. I pity the poverty of the Italians having to make so little go so far. Never again.

Being part Italian I grew up around the flavours of Italy. I came to this restaurant for my best friend's birthday party and was really excited. I must say I was disappointed. The food arrived late and wasn't even warm. The food is quite pricey also and wasn't worth my money. Even my niece can make a better pizza and pasta. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

We usually only dine here on weeknights when in a group of four or more, largely because the upper level is often more quiet and is suited to accommodating groups. The location is fairly central within Cronulla, and on weeknights it is not too difficult to find a parking spot.

The waiters and waitresses are usually polite, often however, the service is lacking. On one occasion, an entire main meal of one member of our group was forgotten while the rest of us received our meals. After entree, we need to specifically request new cutlery. Another night the waiter forgot to serve our drinks.

The cream-based pastas and the risottos are good, as is the pizza. The gelato is great. For the price, the quality of the food is as expected - not five star but for a local Italian restaurant I can always count on a pasta dish to taste the same as always.

The upper level near the windows offers better views across the park than the other tables in the restaurant. Overall, we return to this place to catch up with friends because the food quality is reliable, the service however, is not.

We ordered some home delivery, simple order. Pasta, garlic bread, and a caesar salad with no bacon at about 6 pm. Our order arrived at about at about 7, and our salad had bacon, we called to get it rectified, and they promised to send us out a new one. Absolutely unacceptable.

It was getting toward 7.30, still no new salad so we called again to check to find out what had happened. They told us it was ready and waiting to be delivered. It finally arrived at about 7.45, a new salad, with bacon in it.

We called again, and they promised to send us out another, when it arrived, thankfully, no bacon, but no offer of a discount, refund or coupon for all the hassle. So we couldn't eat until 8 pm, 2 hours after placing the order.
