This place always looks busy so I thought I'd try it out one weekend, but was very disappointed. While the decor and service of the place is quite good, the food we ordered was quite terrible (and I am a lover of pasta and pizza in general). The pastas had no flavour or seasoning at all (we had to add copious amount of salt and pepper to our dishes ourselves) while the pizza we ordered as just too salty and did not taste good. If this place just focused more on the actual food being served, I'm sure they would go far as the decor and location is pretty good.

In a word, disappointing. Arrived at 7:15, ordered by 7:30. Ordered a pizza for entree and then 5 mains. After an hour and numerous enquiries no sign of any food. Finally told pizza went to wrong table and it would be out soon and it would be taken off the bill.

When the pizza finally arrived it was fantastic, full of flavor and perfect base. Unfortunately that is where the positives ended. The mains came out 2 minutes after the pizza and were terrible.

The wait staff were very courteous and attentive but the food (excluding the pizza) is just not up to scratch. Finally the pizza that was to come off the bill was still there when the bill arrived.

I've really tried to be fair and keep open minded about Little Italy. Its our local restaurant and we've dined here/taken away a few times over the years due to convenience.

The food is ok if you are too tired to cook, the dessert in the stands aren't always fresh so beware what you pick. The last two pizzas we took away were burnt and inedible, clearly not the food you would serve to your family let alone to customers. We called up to let them know our dissatisfaction and were given an apathetic response. My advice: go somewhere else to dine or for take away.

Went with a few friends, we thought the food was ok, I don't think staff wanted to be there I think if the service was better we would have enjoyed the place alot more.

When a restaurant serves very generous amount of food, it's often because they are not so confident about the food. But Not This Place. They give so much food but all consistently tasty and fresh. What I can't finish I take home, all last three occasions. The staff always kind and vibrant. I cannot help but going back. I just hope they never change...anything!

Came here with my family, looks like a nice place but we were disappointed. We got a greek salad which was drenched in vinegar, could not eat it! pizza was ok, the staff were rude, when we paid they just took our credit card receipt without saying thank you or goodbye on leaving.

Dined at Little Italy Allawah last week and was absolutely amazed. Have been here many times before as the food is always good but the restaurant needed a little TLC and was very noisy.

My wife and I had spicy salt and pepper king prawns which were to die for followed by a steak and misto mare which were just as good. We were so full we shared a chocolate fondant, which the chef recommended to us, which was unbelievable.

Our waitress was very attentive to us and nothing was a problem for her. Thank you Little Italy, we had a fantastic night and we both love the new look which creates a much better atmosphere for you. Will definitely be seeing you again soon.

Eating here was a big mistake, I went there with my partner. The place was so small and noisy, The staff were not attentive and the food was average and overpriced. We were half way through our main at around 8.30 when the waiters decided to start packing away tables and cleaning around us. Very awkward and rude we felt like we were being pushed out the door. Will never go there again.

The restaurant wasn't busy and there were staff around, but they seemed more interested in chatting to eachother than actually serving customers. Ordered food and weren't checked on for the rest of the night. Even had to go up to the counter and wait to be able to pay the bill - while two of the kitchen staff argued in front of us. Food was alright, although the pizza was a bit burnt. Wouldn't bother going back.
