Lipari Pizza

Been a Lipari regular for years, whenever they decide to move a few doors down, we have moved to. A great, simple pizzeria nothing to fancy, but good consistent food and service. I dare say that the last pizza I ordered was a margarita and it was a bit undercooked as the cheese wasn't melted properly but other than that have been very happy with this local.

Dined at Lipari Pizza last night with a group of 5 adults and a 2 year old child. We were seated promptly in the middle of the busy pizzeria with a high chair and crayons provided for our 2 year old.

Service was efficient, professional and non intrusive. Our starter was a delicious garlic pizza, followed by our mains which varied from veal marsala, spaghetti with tiger prawns and lasagna. All of which were consistent and tasted amazing! The dessert menu was tempting with an array of gelato, cakes and Nutella pizza but we were all too satisfied from our mains to possibly fit in dessert also!

All in all a great evening. A fantastic little dinner spot for groups, couples and families with kids. We will be back next week!

Delivered wrong order, promised replacement, then never turned up. We were starving having spent the day moving house, so not impressed to wait 3 hours and never receive the ordered meal. I was a regular delivery customer (20 orders in the last 4 months), but won't be ordering again.

I’m very sorry that this has happened to you. Not sure exactly when it was and I can understand how upset you would me as you would have been very tired and starving at the same time not a very good combination. 



As we have successfully given you 20 orders in the last 4 months we hope you change your mind and re order with us. There are many people working at Lipari and unfortunately we are all human and mistakes happen.

Great value, delicious pizza and entrees. And not overpriced. A little bit noisy and a few kiddies in there (annoying) but it's BYO and a good place to go when you're not in the mood to cook but don't want to get dressed up to eat yummy food and drink some wine. I'm a local and I've been back a few times and it's always good. Prosciutto pizza is the best!

I've only lived in Lilyfield for less than a month, but I've already got this place as my favourite pizza place. They're really friendly and community-oriented, but most importantly their pizza is absolutely sensational.

I was so excited to come here especially that it was to celebrate my Dad's Birthday and after reading many positive comments decided to take the plunge. On entering this place it has no real atmosphere or vibe which lets it down straight away. We were sitting near the counter and floor was constantly vibrating from the fridges in the kitchen.

We started with the Salt and Pepper Calamari which were way below par. They were shrivelled and had no crunch or salt and pepper flavour. We then had the homemade Aranci which were so small and didnt represent good value. We were all excited about the pizza's and after ordering and tasting four different varities they lacked body and texture as well as good flavour.

The only good thing when there was enough of it was the sauce on the bottom. We also had a salad which was small and looked like it had been pre prepared there was no love at all in this food and you could taste it. The seafood marinara normally has seafood in it but needed a magnify glass to see it what a dissapointment!

We had the nutella pizza which was very plain and needed a lot more nutella seeing as this is one of their specialities. I would highly recommend not to go here but the waitress was friendly . There are so many better places in Sydney to go. Avoid as this will not give you any satisfaction and not good value .

Sorry we didn't meet your expectations. We are small but cozy pizzeria so unfortunately maybe you will feel the vibrations of the fridges. We always have fantastic reviews about our calamari, spaghetti marinara and our customers love our pizzas so not too sure what happened on the night. Thanks for the feedback I will look into it.

Ate their last night after the wonderful reviews. Very disappointed. Salt n pepper calamari was Terrible. Pizzas were very disappointing. Waitress was ditsy. Restaurant has approx 5 tables, then asked 'where were you seated?' out of 10 I'd give it 3. Not memorable and sad we celebrated a very important b'day there. The best part of the night. When we left, they were so much more friendlier as if that would change our opinion.

I got pizzas delivered so I can only rate food and value. I've ordered them twice, and both times the pizzas were slightly warm but almost cold. 1 hour wait for delivery is ok, but my place is about max. 10min walk from this place, so I wonder how long my pizzas were sitting on the counter.. The only reason I got a delivery from them again was the weather. I might go to a this place one day, but I won't get a delivery again.

Recently dined at Lipari after finding a pizza place on iPhone. I must say, this was one of the best pizzas I have had! Excellent topping, tasty base with a bit of crunch but soft on the inside. We teamed it up with a greek salad and mineral water. Definitely back on the list to visit again, & again & again. Only downfall was a couple (guy worked there) dining out front swearing; ruined the atmosphere a little. Maybe choose to sit inside.
