First time trying the Lindt cafe and was pleasantly surprised. Although I can't say it was cheap, I think their rivals are more expensive. I came to try the macarons as I have been told they were one of the best. Ordered strawberry, pistachio and salted caramel. They were nice and big and really delicious. Also had a hot chocolate which was also very tasty.

But I was really wanting to try the cake but couldn't justify the $14 and up prices for a slice that was about 3cm x 10cm. Really lovely staff. Very polite. Anyway, I was still happy with what I got and will come back for dessert again.

Awful. Way too expensive! $4.50 for a scoop of ice cream, but it wasn't even 1/3 of a scoop size! 2x short black for $10 - what a rip off! Not worth going here at all. Lots of other dessert places nearby who will not rip you off. This place is designed to rip off tourists!

Great for a late night stopover. The desserts are amazing and location is fantastic, especially during an event or fireworks. Lindt is not the cheapest chocolate in the world but it's one of the best.

Chocolate cafe that sells chocolate, ice cream, cakes and they have a food menu. I have tried their sandwich and drink combo at lunch which seems to be of reasonable value but other than that everything is expensive. Prices have gone up for ice creams as well. Tried their new delicensing flavors, and indefinitely don't think its worth the $2.90 price tag. Stick to Lindt bars and chocolates at the supermarkets when they go on sale.

Came for dessert but was somewhat shocked at the prices, so ended up getting a mocha, hot chocolate and some macarons to share.

The food and drinks were really good, and the counter service was reasonably quick, but they need to pay more attention to clearing and cleaning tables. I'd also love a couple of extra heaters out in the seating area on a cold night.

Although quality surroundings and delicious food is plentiful, the service has been consistently poor since it opened at Martin place. Please develop a customer service culture and pay for quality staff. Happy to provide more input.

Iced chocolate was delicious. Hot chocolates come as a "do-it-yourself" kind of gimmick, but still tasted delicious. Only gripe I have was paying $16 for a chocolate fondant cake (tiny, meant to be warm but wasn't, and dry) with a small scoop of vanilla ice cream. Would not get that again.

I would return for a drink ($7) on a romantic evening during the week, but won't be purchasing any of their over-priced desserts.

As per usual Lindt Cafe, has the Best chocolate, but imagine how horrid I was to see that I paid $94.90/per kg for the balls that I can get at woolies/coles for $10 per 400gms, $30 per kilo, that is more than 100% mark up.

When I rang them to check the price, they were proud of their prices and said, that they had a better range than at woolies/coles. Definitely not better prices. Don't go there to get your chocolate, sample it for "free" because when you make a purchase you more than pay Double for it.

A Rip Off, great way to treat tourist and citizens of this country, way to go Lindt!!

Food was always great, expect this time, a waiter (Tony) who was working on 1st march around 5 pm. He ignored me despite saw me waiting to order the ice cream. I walk over to his direction and he still pretend not seeing me, then when I want to order the ice cream, his attitude is worth a slap in the face, if you are too lazy to serve then don't work as waiter, who do you think you are? the boss? as waiter it is your duty to serve customer and not having customer asked to be serve and not being served ! Lots of business is ruined due to lack of customer service!

The food is amazing and always fresh and I don't just mean the astounding desserts. I've been here a number of times for the lunch options ($15 for a sandwich and any drink). The sandwiches are fantastic if you're looking for a nice light lunch especially the vegetarian one.

The mocha is fantastic as it makes such a difference when they use really good quality chocolate rather than chocolate powder. Desserts are to die for. Macaroons in credible though I would suggest don't get a heavy dessert and a heavy drink as the chocolate is just so rich having too much of it would ruin the experience. I usually go for a cake and an ice tea, or a small coffee or a milkshake and a macaroon. Be balanced and you'll enjoy it much much more.

Table service isn't fantastic when the place is busy but its not terrible either. Been there many times and will go many times more.
