Enjoyed a wonderful meal on a voucher, and will definitely be going back to what is now our favourite local Thai. The curry puffs were light and crispy, the red curry had beautiful spicy flavours and the chicken and cashew stir fry was aromatic and sublime. The service is awesome and we had a lovely conversation with one of the owners once she discovered we'd been to Thailand (saying 'thank you' in Thai made her day!).

Such a nice surprize awaiting patrons at the end of that tiny little alley. The food fabulous and the service quick and friendly. Well done guys. We enjoyed the dinner a lot and will be back. Even though we have to travel 150Ks from Newcastle.

Delicious, fresh and exotic Thai! We ordered 2 entrees, 3 mains and 1 dessert between 3 people and were delighted with every dish! The crisp rice stick was an original and tasty take on the traditional spring roll, so crisp and filled with sweet, perfectly cooked prawn! The crab claws were also very yummy. The beef massaman curry was flavoursome and tender and the Thai stir fry was packed with lovely fresh vegetables!

The real winner though was the mussel pancake (on Chef's suggestions). It had out-of-the-world crunch, flavour and texture! The bean shoots were so tasty, the mussels plump juicy and the crispy bits of fried pancake were to die for! Just when I thought it couldn't get any better, out came dessert: black sticky rice with homemade coconut ice cream.

This was by far the best dessert I have ever had at a Thai restaurant. The rice was warm, fragrant and comforting and the coconut ice cream was sweet and refreshing, packed with chunks of caramelised coconut. Wow wow wow.

Top that off with tantalising Thai drinks, charming decor and the lovely owners who served us and you get an 11/10 experience. I loved just about everything about Lime Spices. We will definitely be going back!

This was an excellent little thai restaurant which is quite new and doesn't seem to be very busy because it is hidden away from the main neutral bay strip and most people would walk past it without realising it is there.

The decor is modern and tasteful, ie better than most, and it has a pleasant outlook for diners (leafy little garden in front, and isolated from the main road noise) which you don't get in most of the restaurants near miltary rd.

Service was very friendly and personal from the two ladies running the place. Food was also of a very good standard and came out promptly. We went on a voucher with a group of five, but the full prices on the menu were also very reasonable, so we'll be back. Their traditional thai drinks were very refreshing and worth a try.

Just went to Lime Thai tonight on a voucher. The two owners (both women) served up some delicious appetisers. We had the lime spice appetiser special prawn spring rolls and the thai fish cakes. They were both awesome. A new place that it's great to try.

I have been more than 6 times since this place (helpfully around the corner) opened a few months ago. Food is very well priced and the service is warm and welcoming. Don't be put off if there aren't too many people dining, I suppose its not on the main strip and is fairly new.

We went to Lime spices using internet voucher. The place is hidden from the main street. Love the place, and service was really friendly and excellent value.

Using the voucher we only paid $87 for 6 adults plus ala carte order for the kids. We like the entree, it was full of flavour and texture. One of the main they served with the voucher was really too small. Also the noodle portions is very small for the price.

Overall, we enjoyed the lunch we had that day, maybe also because we are the only group in the restaurant so we received full attention from the staff. For sure if they have the same deal, I will come back, but not for full price.
