High tea there is really steep for what you get..$30 p/head you get a small three tier stand with 4 little scones jam/marmalade with barely any cream, 2x tiny bite size caramel slices, 2x bite size lemon tarts (or whatever sweets available that day cut in fours) 4 finger sandwiches and ur choice of coffee or tea additional charge for soy!

Location is great with plenty of space for prams but if you go on a wet or windy day prepare for all your stuff on the table to get blown away as it's a wind chanel where it is.

Lunch menu is also a little but steep for the light sized meals that you receive. Presented well, chicken burger with side of chips and salad would be ur best value for money. There could be more chips/salad and, perhaps, some dressing would add taste to the greens!

Service is snobby and always rushed when you order at the counter also be prepared to wait at least 20-30 minutes for any meal even if it's just a bowl of wedges. If there was another cafe in this beautiful area Lillies would definitely not be the first choice!

A simple cafe where you order your own food and grab your own cutlery. The food is quite good with very generous servings. We went there with a group of 12 and the food came out promptly and at the same time. The saltpepper calamari were very good as was the seafood basket. The caesar salad was different to your usual fare with poached eggs instead of boiled and prosciutto instead of bacon, although it was overcooked to the point of being leathery. The chips are to die for! The place could do with a little sprucing up/cleaning up. Overall, a very good experience.

Absolutely terrible. I recommend no one go there. We ordered an ice coffee and ice mocha, it took 45 minutes for the drinks (and they weren't even that busy towards the later part of the afternoon). And when the drinks finally came out, it was undrinkable, we had to throw it out. The ice mocha was just like chocolate syrup. The wait-staff are rude and the food awful. It ruined what was a very nice day at the park and bike riding.

My 3.5yrs old and I dined there twice and the food was awful! Almost to the point un-edible!

The first time we ordered from light meal menu, only two pieces of turkish bread topped with a bit of green and meat with cheese melt, didn't taste good but we managed to finished. I thought ok., it was only a light meal and it was cheap anyway I shouldn't expect too much.

Today we decided to order from the Lunch menu: risotto $14 hoping it should be better than the "light meal menu". It took 45 minutes for our beeper to buzz (okay, after reading some waited for more than 1 hour for the food, 45 minutes is considered quick service). However, to my horror I found the risotto didn't look like risotto at all, it looks like milk porridge with rice in it. I didn't even want to taste it at all!

Eventually I took a spoonful and it was tasteless! I grabbed one of the waiter and told him I can't eat it, and he told me to go to the counter and ask one of the staff for the senior staff. I went up to a person behind the counter and asked to speak to a senior staff, to my surprise he couldn't point out which person is in charge!

At the end I managed to find the person in charge and told her the food they served was horrible, she replied calmly without apology: would you like a refund? I will definitely not go back there again.

We were very disappointed with our visit on Saturday. It was not what I would describe as busy but the service was poor, and the time it took to be served our food was appalling, 50 minutes for a chicken caesar salad (no croutons) and a kids snack being the carrot and celery sticks with hommous.

The location is great and this place has so much potential but the service really lets it down. The tables were not being cleared which also shows a lack of attention to service. I definitely will not be going back.

We went to Lilies for a Mothers day brunch, it turned in to a half eaten lunch. I would not go here until the standard of service substantially improves.

I lined up for 10 minutes just to order, 1 hour and 15 minutes later and after multiple trips to the serving counter we were served our eggs (2 serves). 30 minutes later we had not received our coffee, smoothie and pancakes for our 2 year old. We ended up deciding to ask for our money back which took another 5-10 minutes.

The staff were helpful and friendly. The kitchen and serving staff were just slow, slow, slow. There just seemed to be chaos with no one really taking charge and getting the food moving.

Had lunch here today and it was very pleasant. Efficient service at the counter when ordering and food/drinks were ready within 10 minutes. Had the Chicken Caesar salad and Gourmet pizza. Both were nice except the pizza crust wasn't crisp enough for us but the toppings were delicious.

Nice spot in the park, we went for breakfast today and while other peoples meals looked good, whatever you do don't order the "bircher" museli. It came as dry muesli with a jug of apple juice, clearly they don't know what bircher actually is!

We came for lunch at 1 PM on the day after New Years (Jan 2), when the park was absolutely packed. I realise it may be difficult to get staff during the holiday week but our experience really left little to recommend this cafe.

When we ordered, we were told that only takeaway was available. When I asked if we could actually eat in the restaurant they said yes, but we needed to get our orders take-way. What this meant was that everyone ordering lunch was served their lunch in a box instead of on a plate. This is probably OK for sandwiches but was a bit awkward for those with dishes like a salad. It took over 45 minutes to get our food which is a bit long at lunchtime!

I ordered a seafood basket (basically fish and chips with a few extra bits of prawn and calamari) and my partner ordered a chicken Caesar salad. In the seafood basket, whilst the prawns and calamari were OK (but not spectacular), the fish was horrible, even inedible. It tasted muddy and the breading was greasy. The chips were not nice at all. Mind you, this meal, full price, would have cost $16 dollars! Considering you can get better fish and chips at your local fishmongers for around $10 or less this is pretty poor value.

The chicken Caesar salad had real, whole anchovies on it, which was nice and enough chicken. However, there were no croutons, which was a bit of a disappointment. They had also placed chicken hot from the grill on top of the lettuce leaves, which made them wilted and slimy.

There was nothing particularly wrong with the service, what there was of it (since all they did was put dishes on the counter and call out your number). However, there was a tub with dishes in it left on the adjacent table for the entire time we were waiting for and eating lunch.

This area of the park is beautiful, the cafe can be a good venue for coffee and a chat on a quiet sunny day. Avoid if the wind picks up as it becomes a breezeway. Unfortunately, the service is appalling even when the manager is there, the service area seems very poorly laid out. The coffee machine and register are located next to one another and only one staff member serves customers at any time.

The staff usually seem confused or overwhelmed with no sense of process in busy weekend times, they don't track orders well and move very slowly. I can't believe it but I recommend avoiding the cafe on weekends or going on a quiet sunny day!
