It's a weird, eclectic place. We went there for a wedding function. It's very big and very dated. The air conditioning was blowing out steam and/or dust right over us! We were not greeted nor seated to a table. Had to ask for a glass of water and the glasses did not look entirely clean.

It's a big restaurant with a covered, outdoor area which would be good for eating lunch there. It overlooks a nice park and the water, but its the only good thing about the atmosphere of this restaurant. The restaurant seems outdated, like it hasn't been painted or renovated since the 70's. The airconditioning was old and lowing steam and/ or dust over the tables.

I thought the service was poor for a wedding function. They didn't tell us what were we eating and I didn't know as it was Indian cuisine that I'm not familiar with. Having said that, I thought the food was great and very tasty, just enough spice and plenty of food!

We did have a good time because of the Indian music and dancing, but I would probably not got here again on an individual occasion.

This has to be the worst restaurant in sydney maybe in Australia. We went midweek and the restaurant was empty no atmosphere what so ever. The waitress looked like she did not want to be there. The food took ages to come out and there wasn't anyone else in the restaurant. I do not know how this place survives. The food was very ordinary. Will never go there again.

This place is terrible, its big and cold with no ambience, very few people in the place, service is mediocre. Waitresses just going through the motions. Food yuk! I cook better! If you want to go out for a good meal with good service, this isn't the place!

Best service I have ever experienced. was there for a birthday and it was just wonderful, the Indian food (didn't try the Australian menu) was yummy and overall had a great time, also very very cheap. Will be definitely coming back.

We went there just before christmas and had a seafood platter and paid over $100 for our meal. The platter was all frozen food and was disgusting. We will never be going there again.

Awful. We waited 2 hours for the entrees to be served and a further 90 minutes for the main meals to arrive. The desserts were from Woolworths. People who arrived after us were served first. The toilets were disgusting and had no paper to dry your hands on and the hand dryer didn't work. The staff couldn't speak much English and were very rude. Oh and the tablecloths were dirty also. The Fawlty Towers of restaurants! The worst restaurant in Sydney.

On arrival we were not greeted and we had to find our way to the table where our dining partners were already seated. Our dining partners showed us a set menu which they had grabbed from another table as they were not given a menu to peruse while waiting for us to arrive.

When we finally got the attention of a waitress and asked if we could have the regular Indian cuisine menu I was informed that the set menu was what was available for tonight. Ok, it was Valentine's Day and I did book a couple of weeks ago, but it would have been a good idea to let me know it was a set menu when I made my reservation.

The waitress seemed annoyed that we brought our own wine, even though I checked when I booked that it was ok to BYO. We asked for some glasses of water which were brought to our table, 1 chilled and 3 just out of the tap. We never saw a waiter or waitress again after this.

After being ignored for service after 45 minutes, and noticing patrons who had arrived after us were already dining, we decided it wasn't worth staying and left the restaurant. I can't comment on the food as not one waiter came near us or bothered to take our order after delivering the glasses of water.

I have dined here with my family a few months ago for lunch and the Indian food and the service were good on that occasion, which was the reason for this visit. Very disappointed and may not dine here again.

We only went here because we had a shop a docket for one free main meal and we were pleasantly surprised! The place is huge, so would be good for big groups, the service was fantastic, the food was delicious and it is right on the beach so you have great views over the park from the window tables. We eat Indian food a lot and this is one of the best that we have had. It is going to become our local take away from now on!

Great food, the waitress was a little over the top and, perhaps, overserviced us, however, in general the food was great, they had entertainment which was nice as you don't get that often these days. Plenty of room though so was great with our baby who is in a chair, BYO which is also good as it makes a meal even more affordable, highly recommend.
