A little bird told me that this place is going to undergo a change. There will be karaoke from 10pm weekends... r&b , all the contempo stuff too, and the menu is going to take on a more "tapas" feel so that you can try more and not feel as though you`ve ordered too much. The price is set to drop too.... great food already and its about to get better!
I always go to this place. Have to drive a bit but it's worth it! Food is yummy. Highly recommend the beef ox tongue, raw beef salad (there is a cooked beef one too) paw paw salad, green chicken curry and Laos sausages, serve with sticky rice. YUM! all these dishes are the traditional Laos food. This is what I always order when I go there because it is just very delicious! the food can be very spicy but you can choose between mild and extra hot.
I ate here for my dad's birthday dinner. Food was delicious, highly recommend the Lao Som Tum and quail. The stir fried Seafood was very cheap and very tasty. One of the best Lao/Thai restaurants in Sydney. Will definitely be making a second trip.
The decore is bright and spacey. The crowd is local and laid back, with the odd drinkers group feasting and bingeing on VBs.
The food is great, if only a bit bigger it would be pleasing. But all round it's not bad.
In my opinion, one of the best proper Lao restaurants in Sydney. The range of dishes is distinctly Lao rather than Thai. The chilli quail is excellent. The only grumble I have is the ox tongue could be better.
