This is a cute little restaurant with friendly service. I can't say I really enjoyed the food though. Maybe it was the dishes we picked but they were a little salty. The entree was good though, we had pork skewers but I wasn't sold on the rest of it.

I was looking for somewhere to dine in dee why, and I never ever realized that place was a restaurant. Anyway, I never tried philippines food so I was excited to do so. We came in just the 2 of us, the place was quiet and we ordered prawn and a beef dish, the prawn dish with tomato sauce was actually nice, and the beef with potato dish left a bit to desire, the rice was nice, service could do a lot better, I think the senior staff of the restaurant was there on his own, but he didn't really seemed to care about what was going on, the magazine was more important than his business. Anyway, just average.

We booked a table for 9 the service is extremely slow. We did not get a menu when we came in. Even the water took 30 minutes to arrive. Don't order the calamancy juice because it is not fresh! Don't go!

Great Food for a casual night. I agree that take-away does not give the food justice and would highly recommend the 5 courses for $20 mid week.

Food is fresh and the service is really friendly and welcoming.

So much on the menu to choose from! Takeaway the first time did not do La Mesa justice, maybe it was the dish I chose. Dined with friends on a Saturday night, food was lovely, service with a smile, location so-so.

The restaurant was quiet and comfortable. The entrees and mains were really tasty with good flavour combinations. Prices were very reasonable. Service was friendly. The waiter was very attentive without being intrusive as he explained the dishes enthusiastically. The desserts were great too.

Will definitely come back again and try dishes we saw coming out at the tables next to us.

Starters and dessert was ok, but was very disappointed with the mains. Basically the food was bland. Lechon kawali was mostly hard crispy fat with no moist meat that lechon is well known for. There wasn't much sauce provided. A home cooked meal is way better than this.

It's great to have a Filipino restaurant in the Northern Beaches. As a Filipino, I can tell you that the food is authentic and fab! Filipino food is unlike other Asian cuisine (e.g. Thai, Vietnamese, Japanese, Chinese). Some of the dishes are closer to Spanish food. The Crispy Pata (crispy pork) is a must try! The service is great.

I believe that they cook the most beautiful Filipino food. The kare-kare is simply delightful and so are the other dishes, like mechado and chicken pastelle. The staff are friendly and attentive, although they can get busy sometimes. Halo-halo is always recommended at the end of each meal.

This would have to be one of my fav resturants. As a filo myself who doesn't cook at all it indeed is a piece of home for me. The Service is Great, even when its been packed the guy always finds a table for me and whoever im with. I highly recomend the coconut juice, the okoi for starter, the toscino (OMG heaven) and for desert (it's all good but my fav is the Lechiplan).
