Went in a party of five on a Friday so we avoided the $20 'all you can eat'. BYO charge was $6 per bottle, two of us had Pisco Sours at $7 a pop, had the two kilos of meat for $89, so the whole effort came to $121 which is still pretty good value (we all left stuffed!). Meat was served on a hibachi, nice & tender t-bone, some pork ribs, lamb chops etc. Chips were bloody good, salad was basic but a good fit.
We thought the service was great, really friendly and genuine. The way this restaurant is decked out is worth a visit in itself! Some of the previous reviews mention how good the dipping sauces are, and they're damn right, they're just the best! We all said we'd go again..
A nice little Peruvian joint. Not Bad for $20 bucks!! I went here with some friends and we got what we paid for. We had some wine, decent service and average food. We started off the all you can eat frenzy with fries and some dipping sauces that were great!! Bottle those sauces up and sell them please! We then went to the salad that was most definitely average.
The main course of the evening was steak, chicken and sausage. The steak was the weakest of the 3. The chicken was very tasty and the sausage was good but over cooked. If it wasn't for the wine, perhaps, we would have noticed that the waitress was missing in action most of the night. Luckily for her there were ladies behind the bar that were more than willing to give a helping hand.
Overall for the money it was worth it. I mean you really can't complain for an all you can eat Peruvian meat fest for only $20. Overall OK.......I want the recipe to that green sauce!!
An interesting and lively restaurant. It's certainly not fine dining, but if you like your meat, and lots of it, then you'll be well served here. The chicken is very good, although, perhaps, tending towards slightly dry, but the steak is generally poorer cuts (mind you at the prices, you can't expect the best cuts). We found the service to be very good and genuinely keen to ensure we were enjoying ourselves. The waitress also made some useful suggestions in terms of choices.
We arrived at 8pm on a Friday, a table for 9 was waiting for us. We ordered the Parrillada Isabella's Deluxe, we started with sangria, one of the best that I have had, food was served at 8.30pm and plenty of fresh meats served on a bed of hot burning coals, it was a great night the Mariachi playing at our table added a flair to the atmosphere. I have travelled and lived in many Latin America country's and have eaten in many places, this is a great place to bring back the memories.
We ate here on the back of positive SMH review, and were disappointed as this restaurant did not meet any of our expectations. Service was very poor, we waited an hour and a half for our plate of barbequed meat to arrive. Whilst the food was not without good bits (The chicken as oft noted on this page was superb, but there was only one quarter!) 85% of the meat was cheap thin cuts of beef rib steak that was as tough as your boot. There was also one and a half Chorizo's (good) and 2 small bits of fried pork belly.
The highlight beyond doubt was the sublime extra hot creamy chilli dip that accompanied the meat, which is a fair indictment on this meat house we won't come back to. You get what you pay for. Maybe this was an off night but some other reviews on this page echo our opinions.
I have been to this restaurant about 5/6 times. The meat is always very tasty and the portions are very large, however, they tend to give a lot less chicken and pork (which are our favourites) and way more beef! Service could definitely be improved. Everytime I have been to La Parrillada I have been served by the same lady who I find to be a little stand offish and at times rude. The only reason I do come back is for the tasty all you can eat meat!

My booking was for 7:30pm I got to restaurant at 7:30 pm on the dot on a thursday evening. I was left standing at front bar waiting to be seated whilst the waitress was in back table talking with friends. Then a group of some what regulars arrived and and waitress came very quickly and then seated them before myself.
I ordered the parillada for 2 as I was accompanied by a friend and wasn't served my meal till 9:30pm and after a bottle of red wine which was meant to be drank with the meal. The service was atrocious as everytime you would like for the waitress she was off talking to her friends in a back table. There was nobody to say why the delay on the meal was taking so long.
When the meal finally arrived it came in a haze of smoke wich went straigt on your eyes and covered the whole room up it was grilleed meats, pork, ribs and chorizzo. It was very filling but I was aware a bbq meal took 2 hours to cook. I wouldn't recommend this experience for anybody.
Got there nice and early so didn't need to book. Loved the santa dolls on the walls that were simply turned around so we couldn't see their faces, being july and all.
Amazing carnivorous feast for such a great price. My latin american boy told me this is a close to authentic asado as you can find in Sydney.
