5 star dining. Even though it is inside the RSL, it is one of the fanciest RSLs I've ever been to. The food was divine, perfectly cooked barra with tantalising sauce. The entree gnocchi was also one to enjoy and the dessert maintained the perfect standards already served. Staff were attentive, professional and friendly.
I went again recently and the place is still amazing. I had a special set menu $45 which included wine, entree, main and dessert. Everything was perfect, except for my coffee...a once off bad coffee I am sure. If you are dining here, then you MUST try their panacotta dessert. Oh soooo good!

La Tratt is fine dining in the West. If you have a special occasion and can't be bothered driving to the city I'd highly recommended La Tratt. I was very surprised with how nice Fairfield RSL is. The food was 5 star, even better than some of the fine dining the city offers.
I had the duck and wild mushroom pie which looked and tasted amazing, my partner had the pork belly which had a beautiful crispy skin and tender meat.
Warning with the entrees the mains are quite filling so maybe don't order one each if you plan on trying dessert.
The prices are a little higher than the usual RSL prices, but they were definitely worth it.

Wow! We went to La Tratt for a birthday dinner last night and for the first time I am lost for words to express my delight with this restaurant. From the beginning with sitting in the lounge with an aperetif and risotto balls to the mouthwatering, wanting more, tasting dessert plate. Our gracious waiter, who's name escapes me, organised our request of a entree degustation type meal with matching wines.
The service of our dishes were timed to perfection as they were executed and allowed us to go out and have a sneaky cigarette only to find our napkins had been refolded and water glasses refilled on our return. I will be telling anyone who is prepared to listen of this fabulous establishment. Compliments to Fairfield RSL for having this sensational place to dine.

What an amazing place. Food wonderful! Atmosphere wonderful! Service wonderful! Certainly shows how they achieved all the awards proudly displayed as you enter the restaurant. Have been telling all my friends about how great this place is. Will definitely be back.

Food is delicious. Can understand why they have won so many awards. It is a fine dining place hence expensive. But worth a try if you are celebrating an important occasion. It was our second wedding anniversary that we had booked ourself here so will not crib.

Staff were friendly, efficient and paid attention to fine detail. Food was excellent, absolutely delicious! Loved every dish, had the spinach flowers (entree), lamb shoulder (main) and white chocolate panna cotta which surprisingly, wasn't too sweet. We were also pleasantly surprised with everything as it was our first time here.
The fact that it's a top restaurant in Fairfield is great. Anyone, especially locals, if you want to avoid the busy city, traffic, expensive food etc. I highly recommend you to dine here. You may end up going to the city or a classy area, paying a lot more for your meals, getting poorer service etc. when you can dine here. I wasn't disappointed and definitely will be coming back.
