The service is great and the food and price for is good, beats all the others around, I always recommend it.

Went in on whim. Quick and friendly service. Standard type ME menu but the food is not standard, far from it, it is very good. Among the best I've had. Especially the raw kibbe. Nothing was salty but the flavours were great. Note no alcohol at all which is their prerogative.

Love, Love, Love this place! Just can't get enough of their food! Price is no substitute for quality, half the price of other Lebanese Restaurants eg Zenobia - North Strathfield. We would highly recommend the mixed plate. Enjoy!

Fresh Food, the Fatteh is highly recommended, the best I've tasted ever!... the mixed plate a good way to try all the different meats, sides and dips. Falafel was freshly cooked and could not really fault any of the meats, well cooked and loved the garlic sauce.

Ambience, renovated place, looks fresh inside, the downside is the toilet and the fact it is in Guildford! Service: prompt and non-intrusive.

Value: $18 for a mixed plate is not good value for Guildford, prices are more that of an inner city restaurant!

10 out of 10 for value. Such excellent prices! Went here for the first time for fathers day and was extremely impressed. $90 for 6 people who practically rolled out the door due to the food in our bellies. Service was quick despite being very busy. Food was delicious and jam packed with flavour. Popped my kibbeh cherry (fried of course) and was left wanting more. The only downside was that you cant bring alcohol in. Cannot wait to return!

Amazing, amazing, amazing! I am Israeli (although I would never tell them this) and it is the closest thing I have discovered in Australia to what we get back home. The Kibbe is beautiful and reminds me of the ones you can get in Old Quarter in Jerusalem from the Arab merchants who stack them high in their wheelbarrows.

The only thing is that the pita bread served is the usual nonsence you seem to get in Australia and not the beautiful, soft and sometimes almot gooey Pita pockets and real Laffa bread that you get in Israel. However, having said, certainly my favourite retaurant in Sydney and well worth the drive from Bondi!

La Shish serves great Lebanese food with a home-cooked taste. The flavours and freshness of ingredients is far superior to many other Arabic restaurants in Sydney, but so too is the price. As the saying goes "you get what you pay for." And the food at La Shish is definitely top notch. However, the decor and atmosphere of this restaurant need to improve in order for the price to be justified.

At present, La Shish is a nicely decorated take away restaurant charging restaurant prices. With a bit more attention on presentation and atmosphere, this could be one of the places to go in South Western Sydney.

My family and I visit La Shish about once a fortnight and love everything about the place! The food is about as authentic as anything you can get in the middle east!

Definitely the best value dish is the mixed plate (we always ask for no tabouli and extra felafel) which comes with an assortment of meats, chicken, felafel, hummus and babaganoush. The garlic chicken is also awesome as are the freshly fried Kibbe!

This has to be one of the best Lebanese Restaruants in Sydney hands down. Food is always good and fitout is also nice. Never had a problem with service or food. Will always return and have recommended this place to several people and they all loved it. :-)
