Finally a proper Italian place with real italian napolitan atmosfere and service. Now I have carefully read all the reviews before I came here and I was a bit concerned been Italian myself I like only original italian joints. After dining I can affirm that all the unhappy reviewers and self made food and restaurants critics wich have in any way complained about this place should get a life and stop criticising the place and the service, in fact we italians have a sense of humor and don't like at all a mute waiter and a silent service. The young waiter does a exellent and genuine italian style service and we are very happy. Food, atmosphere and service was fantastic and we going to be back on a regular basis. Thanks.

Been tonight at La Grotta, it was perfect! I always trust the waiter with his specials, I never look the menu. This time we had the Duck and the Salmon Fillet, beautiful like always! I dont believe the people that say bad things on this restaurant, I think they don't understand anything about food and about italian service! You can go to Mc Donald. You'll like it!

Been there this sat, man its change, finally! Food has improve a lot, about the service, that young guy there is so not a waiter! He is like kinda trying hard to sale is special, but man! You have such bad customer service! Get real!

I have recently been here with a friend who had already dined at La Grotta and liked it. We went on a Wednesday night thinking of having a pizza but we eventually decided to choose the mains, chicken dishes, that we found tasty, cooked with flair and generous. We ordered the tortino for dessert. Just that is worth a visit to La Grotta! Awesome!

The service is friendly and attentive, I am very surprised of seeing bad ratings. I will be back for pizza soon!

What a shame this place is not what it started. I wonder why they have $10 pizza nights. I assume to take business away from domino. But Dominos still beat you guys. For taste and service. All I can say. What a shame you have allowed to get this bad. Will not be returning.

Wanting a quick bite on Sunday for lunch, we thought we'd give La Grotta a try - even though we were a little put off by previous reviews here. Walking in, we realised we were only the 2nd table of people there, which seemed a little odd considering next door was packed out at that time. However, the food was better than I expected. Garlic bread was perfect, and the pizza was tasty. I thought the pizza was a little soggy in the middle, but my pizza-snob of a husband thought it was really good. Service was fine, and value was as expected for what we ate in that area.

This restaurant was absolutely fabulous, from the food, to the service to the live music. A few families were in the restaurant celebrating birthdays and the live singer was great. He kept everyone entertained. Pastas and pizzas were delicious. Will definitely go there again!

The food was awful here. The toppings on the pizzas do not stick to the base and it all falls off. The pasta was disgusting as it had no taste and very bland. The service was dreadful as they do not serve people and they purposely turn the other way.

Beware: They overcharge for everything even though the prices are in the menu. The garlic bread was $5.5 on the menu but charged $7.7 on the bill. The pizzas are $19 but charged $21.50 for no reason. If you complain they take a very long time to fix it up. Worst restaurant I have ever been to and will never be back. Be warned of this dodgy place!

The food, the first time we tasted the pizza, it was sooooo good, we tried the buffalo mozzarella and cherry tomato pizza. The pasta is also very good, the home made pumpkin canelloni and the spaghetti with sardini, very good.

Ambience - the paintings on the wall, are very artisitic and really remind me of south Italy and cooking seems oriented towards that with the seafood choices.

Value - is the average price that you would pay for pizza and pasta at a resaturant.

I would recommend them.
