Food is awesome here! I have eaten here with my whole family and I will give it 10 out of 10 in food category, service is average but I guess they can improve, I've been to Peru with my family and to be quite honest the food here is awesome and it taste even better than in Peru, give this place a go we have eaten in many restaurants in Sydney and this Peruvian Restaurant will be in my top 5.

Food was disgusting, mushy microwave food and was barely warm. The service was terrible, waiting half an hour for them to bring out food once other people in the same party (who ordered the same thing) were still waiting for their food. It was definitely not a place I would go back to.

Came here on a Sat night to sample Peruvian cuisine and to see if the unfavourable reviews posted here were justified. Having such low expectations, we were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant ambience was bright and breezy, the waitress was obliging and friendly. Mains were generally priced $16-25. We tried the Ocopa for entree and the Lomo Vegetariano and Arroz Con Pollo for mains. Quite good actually. The chicken was tender and the sauces were very good. Is the place under new management? Not sure but the restaurant deserves a repeat visit in our book.

We were there tonight, we intended to go to the restaurant next door (Mexican), but found this place - my wife is Colombian, and was interested in trying it.

We were met at the door by a gentleman, we presume the senior staff, and his waitress - both stood by passively and watched as my 6 months pregnant wife had to stoop down into an awkward position to lift our baby's pram up the steps - a bit bemusing to the say the least. Fault though with the male, he should have helped and didn't even bother greeting us, that and not helping a day both being things that would be expected of a true gentleman.

The service was also on the slow side, although the French waitress was actually very pleasant, patient and friendly with the kids and she indeed was the highlight of the evening.

We were not expecting spicy, Mexican food, sadly I know many westerners expect that all Latin American food = spicy jalapenos and burritos - and indeed it wasn't bad, although not memorable either.

Would we go back? No - mainly for the fact that the unsmiling senior staffs seem to lack good manners/ respect, and that is of course as important for an enjoyable dining experience as having good grub.

The restaurant was empty, that should be a sign that it was not good but we ignored, as the other restaurants around were full and we didn't want to wait. Staff were quite lost, it took ages to get our main apparently they forgot about our order.

Food was really bad, the meat was hard and not tasty. It is not worth it the $$ we spent. At the end when we ask for the bill they got confused, didn't know which table we were (the restaurant was not busy) and one of the waitress came after us with a drink asking if we wouldn't drink before we leave, but we have never order that, it was someone elses order that they mixed up. Not recommended.

Was going to have a b'day party for my partner on Sunday night and decided to try the food out first. All I can say is thank God we did. We are not fussy eaters at all but this was truly the worse food we have ever eaten in our lives. The entree seriously was like dog food. Main had a bit more taste but needed a hacksaw to cut it.

This was without a doubt my worst dining experience ever! The restaurant was empty , this should have been the first sign of what was to come, but I'd read good reviews of this place so thought we'd give it a go.

It took 75 minutes for our entree to come out, not the interesting mixed platter we'd expected, but 4 pieces of deep fried chicken. Another hour later our mains arrived, the seafood was off and the stew, if you could call it that, had been tipped out of a container and microwaved, and I seriously doubt that my garbage disposal Labrador would have been interested in eating it.

Awful awful awful. I resent the time wasted and the money spent.

Frankly, is the worse place where I've ever been. They don't seriously care about their customers. They lost hour reservation and we got a special menu more expensive and really poor because was a special occasion but they said nothing online about it, we anyway started to order and half of the drinks weren't available.

But most of the problems came with the food. I feel so sorry for the waitress, she was nice but obviously not able to fix all the problems coming out from the kitchen. We got wrong food, when we complained about they said yes yes I'll be back but then it seems they just forgot about us and we never got what we ordered. The seafood was frozen and looking vary bad and came hot instead of cold, the mains were wrong and tasting terrible and chew, we noticed they were using the microwave to warm the plates.

Everything came very late, we went there at 6 and at 930 we cancelled our desserts because we had to go (such a shame considering they were free in the special expensive minimum 40$ each menu) but then it took ages do the bill and even if we were only 4 persons it seems a big deal to find out what we ordered and they gave me a dirt paper with many cancellations on it and we could not even understand what was it, but we understood very well we had to pay a lot and we didn't eat enough.

They were always standing in front of the kitchen yelling each other and always looking like they didn't know what to do next. No organization at all.
But the worse, I swear it, is we saw them use the lipton green tea, but on the special menu the only tea available was 'peruvian herb infusion tea'. I didn't know I could to get it from 7/11! Liars. Don't go. The music was too loud and wasn't possible to talk.

We missed Peruvian food from our recent trip and so happy to find this restaurant. We went there for lunch and were the first customers who walked in. As they weren't too busy we got to chat with the chef and she was so lovely. The food was delicious, I love their Aji de gallina and their Pisco Sour was pretty good too! They also had Peruvian spices for sale, in case anyone wanted to recreate some Peruvian food at home. Overall we had a good time there.

I find it really strange that this place has gotten so many bad reviews. I went for lunch last week with some friends, and it was the best experience. The food does take some time to come out, as they had only 2 people in the kitchen and it looked like they were cooking from scratch. The waiter was very friendly and helpful, and the food was unbelievable, definitely worth the wait. It's not the place for a romantic meal, but it's ideal for friends. I will be recommending this place.
