La Brasserie, the soul of Paris in the heart of Sydney.
At La Brasserie tradition is as important as innovation. It is the vision of our host Phillipe Valet to bring you the culinary and cultural experiences of his two homes, Normandy and Paris; great provincial produce in a modern Parisian setting. For Philippe Valet, the brasserie tradition goes back generations, most notably, Phillipe’s grandfather, Michel Valet, operated the famous Chez Castel Brasserie in Paris. Inspired by his heritage, Phillipe is always on hand to welcome you to La Brasserie.
The professional team at La Brasserie is dedicated to providing a friendly and rewarding dining experience for you and your guests. From a casual glass of Cotes du Rhone red or the fabulous Baiser du feu cocktail, to the full array of cuisine and fine wines, and our beautifully appointed private dining room, La Brasserie is the perfect destination. Drink or dine...you are always bienvenue

Great place, I love it, I think the food is genuinely French and service is very good, although it can get a bit noisy.

My husband and I had a fantastic dining experience. The food was excellent, every course delighted, excellent wine list with a great selection of french wines. The atmosphere is authentically french just like any Paris brasserie with very friendly service. We will certainly be back soon.

Had a nice romantic dinner there the other night and food was absolutely amazing. Staff, however, seemed to be over-worked resulting in long delays and inconsistent service quality. They seem to try and save some money by employing not enough people which is a bit of a shame. More than made up though by the excellent food quality and very authentic "France-like" atmosphere of the restaurant: We will definitely come again!

We love the Parisian feel of La Brasserie, it's very authentic and dishes up great food too. The escargots are a must and the confit du canard (duck) is amazing too. Their take on creme brulee is also a bit different from the norm.

We've been coming to La Brasserie for dinner for many years and it is one of my favourite restaurants in Sydney. They are consistent and reliable offering excellent service and really good, well priced, brasserie fare. Very reminiscent of the brasseries in Paris. They have a very nice wine selection and often have some interesting specials. They also regularly have entertainment such as singers which is always enjoyable.
La Brasserie has a casual elegance perfectly suited to a romantic evening or quiet dinner. I can highly recommend it.

Have been to La Brasserie a few times now and have never been disappointed. This is now the restaurant my partner and I celebrate special occasions. Great food, romantic ambience, already looking forward to our next visit! The cote de boeuf special is more expensive than the other mains but my partner said it's the best steak he's had in Sydney.

Dining at La Brasserie was a great moment for us. All staff manage to make you feel confortable and they re happy to share their traditional french culture with customers. That s what we expected going in a french restaurant. The grand piano in the restaurant creates a great atmosphere and the food is as traditional as tasty.

The elegant piano playing is making a really great atmosphere. And the food is good. However the service wise... a waiter spilled my friend's wine over her and her bag and he didn't bring back the glass of wine, instead when we asked him that he was supposed to bring a wine... what a rude answer : "You are not nice. Do you really want new glass of wine?". What the hell?

Went for dinner with my Head chef a bit ago and loved it. I had the calves liver with puy lentils and J had the sole. Beautiful combination of flavours and textures. For entree J had the snails and I had the lambs brains, awesome. The wine list is great, some great local numbers, but the French reds are incredible. All in all A great place to catch up with friends and enjoy some Great food.
