The food is always fresh and there's a herby spicy kick to the food which is refreshing for a local thai joint. It also happens to be the cheapest place around. My family picks up takeaway there on a regular basis. Highly recommended.

What a gem! The food was so fresh, colourful and tasty. The staff are so friendly and attentive. Great value too! I highly recommend!

Great value, delicious food, friendly staff, $25 for two people eating in for two mains and sides! Home delivery or take away is great too. The portion sizes are generous, we normally take the extra home for lunch the next day. I strongly recommend the freshly made roti bread dipped in to some tasty yellow curry.

Just came to see friend in Drummoyne and he recommended this restaurant. He said, this is the best Thai restaurant in this area if you like the real Thai taste. So I want to try it by myself. I decide to take my wife and my son with me. I had their chef suggestion menu " soft shell crab" with salt and pepper, wow! the taste was unbelievable. Another dish we had is "Exotic seafood"...only one word .. unforgettable dish. I said to my wife, we have to come back and have this again with friends.

By the way, this place is also kids friendly place. They have colour book to keep my son busy during our fantastic meal. Service is as good as it get for the price you've paid. Better than some place I've been to. I definitely come back to enjoy my foods in this place again.

The food was delicious, fresh and good value of money. We had salt and pepper soft shell crab and chicken larb as entree. For main dishes we had crispy duck and exotic seafood. It was divined. Also coconut ice cream with banana fritter was so yummy.

Everything from entrees, main dishes and dessert for 2 people cost us less than $50.00 with no corkage charge. Also with warm welcome from Kratiam staff remind me about the wonderful service that I had experienced in Thailand. I highly recommend Kratim to anyone that looking for good food and worth value of money.

I recently moved to Drummoyne and wandered into Kratiam on a rainy winter evening, it's been my local thai of choice every since. The ambience is great, the food extremely good value and the service good but not intrusive. With smart decor and little touches like candles and the soothing sounds of the indoor water feature, Kratiam is an intimate, relaxed place to visit. Starters are generous and well priced between $5.50 (very tasty golden fried tofu) and $8.80 (a huge serving of the delicately spiced chicken larb).

Mains include an excellent panang curry ($11.80), above average red curry and some great fresh fish dishes. I have tried the Mussaman and found it to be. The soups and salads are also well priced and include some creative touches. I have always found the staff very welcoming and polite and non intrusive. I would highly recommend this place for well priced, authentic Sydney thai with excellent value for money!

Went here on Friday, thought we would try it out as they have decorated and it's actually quite nice inside. They put us on table that we spent ages trying to get stable, ie. wobbled as the slightest touch, didn't want to move as only table left was near door.

Starters were ok but expensive for what you got. For main, we ordered Massaman beef and lamb something (can't remember name but in curry sauce). Sauce on both dishes was really tasty, but lamb dish had to go back as potatoes were rock hard, by the time the dish was returned the meal was over, ie the other dish had been eaten - no apologies. The Massaman wasn't much better, potatoes cooked but ice cold, and meat was very fatty.

Not enjoyable, waitress didn't even offer more rice as she was more interested in chatting to other staff (their food looked delicious!). Will not go back and will not order take away.
