The most memorable meal I've had in years. Everything was superb! Thanks Kingsleys for such a beautiful evening. My mum said it was the best steak she had ever eaten and that is something coming from an 81 year old.

I have dined here many times over a period of several years and have always found both the food and the service to be excellent. Naturally enough, the steaks are exceptional and always cooked just as ordered. The wine list is extensive.

I came here using a voucher so I would have thought that the value would be great. Sadly I was disappointed in that sides, wine and other accompaniments are relatively expensive.
Regarding the food, I will admit that my steak may have been an exception. My girlfriend enjoyed her steak but mine was well cooked and served but simply lacking in quality for the supposed $45 odd dollar piece of meat that it was. It tasted tough and was not top quality. Let me qualify that by saying that it was hands down better than any pub steak but at a nicer restaurant specialising in steak it was a disappointment.

I had the dinner with spreets voucher, the cost is almost buy one get one free. Usually if you are holding this kind of c=voucher, they do not provide the normal standard service.
However, I am very impress about their service. We booked our seat using the email, the response was received within 24 hours and giving me a very professional and friendly phone call to confirm. I also then received the email confirmation. When entered to Kingsley, we all greeted by their staff and had a warm introduction about how the voucher works. We had 3 rib-eyes and 1 sirloin. The food quality is stunning. The steaks were all well-cooked and very tasty.
The environment is very nice. But point down at the Female toilet, perhaps, the timing when I went there was wrong. It was quite dirty.
At the end, we also ordered desserts which were very tasty. But the price is a bit higher but worth the quality. Overall, I am very happy about their service.

I had dinner here with my partner, she had the baby chicken and I had the eye fillet. Both were very well cooked and were very flavorsome. Service was great on a busy Saturday night and nice atmosphere. Overall, a very decent restaurant if you don't mind paying a premium for quality food.

We had dinner there this evening I had the eye fillet cooked to perfection. The meat was so tender it almost melted in my mouth absolutely delicious. The service was excellent and the maitre de knowledge of not only the Menu but also the wine list very impressive at such a reasonable price.

The menu seems to change frequently but on my visit I had the Scallops with a smoked ham croquet, an interesting but tasty combination. The 220 gram riverine eye fillet was cooked perfectly as I had requested. We also ordered two sides, cauliflower gratin and brussel sprouts, the sprouts were a little underdone. The service was excellent and professional and the meal was reasonably priced. Kingsley's bare sandstone walls and timber finishes give the restaurant a historic, rustic feeling. I would dine here again.

Last night 16 of us dined in the downstairs private room at Kingsleys. The room is great and we had a lovely waitress.
The food was so so but the biggest concern for a steak house was that they overcooked basically everyones steak. The senior staff suggested mine was cooked to medium when I requested rare. I don't think a steak house should stuff up cooking steaks like that.
The senior staff was not really concerned. He did offer to cook me another one, but 20 minutes after my meal was served and suggesting it would only take 15 more minutes, he seemed to miss the fact the meal experience was ruined. At $100 per head for food alone (3 course limited menu), I would have expected a lot better.
I would save your money and go elsewhere for a good steak.

We ordered a steak and a drink each and vegetables to share. If I had gone to the supermarket and cooked it myself it would have been a third of the price. The steak was nice but not outstanding. Won't be going back.
