A friend and I went here last night and first impressions were great, the place looks nice and the girl who showed us to our seats was sweet, however, I must be honest the positive things stopped there. Once we sat down we opened the menu and a waitress came up straight away and asked us for our order, we had to explain we literally just sat down and hadn’t even opened the menu yet. She then hovered a meter away watching us until we were ready, which was really uncomfortable.

The third time she approached us we were ready and ordered spring rolls, a Pad See Ew and Pad Thai. They came out relatively fast, though there were only a few tables in the restaurant with customers so that makes sense. The spring rolls were nice and hot but incredibly small for $6.90, not much filling to them, a few sheds of carrot and mostly tasted like pastry.

The Pad Thai was nice, although lacking noodles believe it or not (strange given it's a noodle dish) and the Pad See Ew was terrible, obviously they burnt it and the whole dish tasted like charcoal, and there was more egg than noodles which was really disappointing. As we had limited time, I wasn't able to complain as we didn't have time to for them to make it again.

Once we went up to pay I advised the man at the register that I had made the booking as it was listed in the entertainment book, handed my 25% off voucher and was advised that it couldn't be used as the restaurant has changed names and was no longer 'In the mood for thai'.

Was a little disappointing given the 25% off was the reason we were there, if I knew this earlier I would have sent the Pad See Ew back, as paying full price for it was a bit of a joke. Definitely wouldn't recommend Khing Thai to anyone, and wouldn't go back again.

Came here with a friend for a quick lunch. I thought their lunch deal was quite reasonable (about $10 dollars for a main and a drink) but was slightly disappointed by the lack of flavour in the main that I ordered (massaman beef curry). The meal itself was quite average and could have done better if they cooked the curry for longer with the sauce.

Overall, it’s a good place to eat that is reasonably priced, but I wouldn’t recommend it.

Ate in at the restaurant on an early Sunday afternoon. Had a great chicken stirfry. All the meals were actually very tasty and the servings were generous. The only thing I can say is that it is quite expensive. $22 for a stir fry is a bit much. But I would come back again to try something different.

Ordered a pad see ew and spring rolls. Delivery was free and fast and food was hot. It was way too spicy for a pad see ew, to the point I could hardly eat/enjoy it. Spring rolls were very small in comparison to rival thai restaurants but were tasty nonetheless. Prices are slightly more expensive that other places but apart from the spring rolls the servings were quite generous. All in all, it was ok but will definitely be going back to my regular cheaper and tastier thai joint.
