I'm a local who decided to try this place after reading the great reviews it had. I'm basing this review on 3 dishes we ordered. First came the Stir fried vegetables. When this came I thought it tasted and looked good. Little oily, typical vegie stir fry for a take away place. 7/10

Then came the "Pork ribs" with Szechaun sauce which were nothing more than deep fried sweet and sour pork pieces. I was expecting little chinese style riblets as per the "Ribs" description. The taste was sweet, tiny bit spicy. It was really artificial and oily, not really szechuan sauce. 5.5/10

Then came the "Deep Fried Duck" with plum sauce. I was expecting some sort of crispy skin Duck dish, but it was so similar to the "sweet and soud pork". The duck was covered in thick fried batter. Some sweet artificial flavouring, semi cooked onions and some green peppers topped it off. It was like ordering the same unhealthy dish twice despite choosing two totally different sauces. The duck meat was not bad, however, just not the batter which I peeled off all my pieces. 4/10

I can understand if you're really hungry and want some greasy take out, then this place hits the spot. But I was quite disappointed with the dishes we ordered. Didn't live up to my expectation of "Modern Asian" which should be a bit fresher and healthier.

Its definitely not cheap either. The other 2 asian restaurants down the road are better propositions. I guess I might try the noodles and fried rice next time, if there is a next time. That new Korean run sushi place opposite is tempting. I can say the service was good and staff were very helpful.

We went to Kenny's for dinner and ordered Seafood Laksa and Singapore Noodle. I have to say, they were one of the worst noodles we have eaten. Somebody must have poured in the sugar as both of the dishes were sickeningly sweet! Don't think we will ever go back again.

Once upon a time, this was the best takeaway in the area, but they have gone down hill rapidly. It used to be outstanding, its now no better than the $5 special at the Maquarie Centre after 3:30! Last and final time we got food there, two dishes were burnt!

The lunch specials are great value and cooked to perfection. Def. the place to go for a cheap eat. There is also a very short wait for food so takeaway is an excellent option.

The food is excellent in comparrison to other takeaway Chinese meals which are far too coated in crunchy/chewy, whereas Kenny's has no problem with this ever, not to mention their fried rice is beautifull. Lovley atmosphere, wonderfull staff who remember you. Good value for money as well.

Generally I find this restaurant very good. It is expensive for what you get and does not represent good value for money. In saying that, however, I do enjoy the food there very much. At times the service can be inconsistent, particularly over the past 6 months or so where there has been quite a turnover most of the staff.

Back to the food, very tasty with some creative dishes. The restaurant environment is quite appealing for a Chinese restaurant. It helps give the food a contemporary feel. I do often go back but often feel that I've paid too much (for what I get).

My favourite Chinese food ever, better that what you get in China too! The staff are friendly, hard working and great value for money. I'm a little lost when they close over Christmas, New year as I get withdrawals. Haha!! There has been some nice interior changes that were done within the last year or 2 making it a nice place to eat in as well. Great food.

Excellent restaurant! Went here last night with friends. Great food and nice looking place, not at all tacky. Parking was little hard to find but all in all a great place to eat. We were even given a free round of drinks because it was our first time there!

Great food, great service and well priced. They have different dishes to more common Chinese restaurants. Highly recommend.

I couldn't understand anyone going here for a night out as there's not much atmosphere. A quick eat-in lunch I could understand, and they do individual lunch specials. I never even phone the order ahead as the wait is usually quite short and by the time I walk to and from the bottle shop, dinner is ready. The food is pretty standard takeaway fare really.
